One Direction breaks TWO YEAR silence with first announcement since reunion rumour

One Direction fans have had their eyes on the band for some time. This month sees the 10th anniversary of the band being formed on The X Factor. During that fateful TV show Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, and Liam Payne were partnered up to create the boy band which took over the world for a time.

Since the band’s break up in 2016, fans have been yearning for some sort of news about a reunion.

And while nothing about a reunion has been announced just yet, news of a 10th anniversary event was revealed earlier this month.

Now, the band have tweeted from their Twitter account for the first time in two years.

Breaking their silence, the gang have begun hyping up their fans for the upcoming event.

The band’s Twitter account posted a black image with white words which read: “10 years of One Direction.”

The image was then captioned: “Tomorrow! You and me got a whole lot of history #10YearsOf1D.”

This of course excited fans to no end, as they began exclaiming their joy.

Replying to the tweet, many fans began writing their own excitement in response to this broken silence.

One wrote: “GET IN LOSERS WE GOING SCREAMING.”

Another said: “I’m crying and it hasn’t even started.”

A third chimed in to add: “#18MonthsMyA** please do something great tomorrow… I don’t wanna get heartbroken again.”

Earlier this month it was announced the event would include a brand new website celebrating the legacy of the band.

This website will include special playlists of the band’s music, as well as some never before seen footage of the band backstage.

The latest odds surrounding the band suggest they will be getting back together by the end of 2020.

According to bookmakers Coral, a 2020 reunion for One Direction currently sits at 1-2 odds on happening.

To make matters even more exciting for fans, further odds suggest Zayn Malik could be in that supposed reunion.
