Over the years, the halls of Buckingham Palace have been graced by some of the biggest celebrities in history.
Figures from pretty much every industry – music, film, politics and sport – have walked through those famous gates to meet the late Queen Elizabeth, or other members of the most famous family in the world.
And it’s safe to say that a handful of these stars have all had their turn at being mischievous – getting up to no good while in the royal residence.

From smoking “spliffs” and snorting cocaine to “sh*gging in the bathroom”, these mega stars have all let slip what went down when they attended the Palace.
So as King Charles celebrates his big day at his Coronation this weekend, Daily Star is taking a deep dive into the celebrities who have had their rogue moments at the Queen's famous headquarters at Buckingham Palace.
Smoking a ‘spliff’
Robbie Williams previously revealed he smoked a joint inside Buckingham Palace.
The singer, 48, has never been one to live by the rules and didn't hesitate to play with fire when he stepped inside the Palace in Westminster back in 2012.
The Rock DJ hitmaker was part of the line-up for The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Concert that took place 10 years ago, allowing him a free pass inside the royal residence.
He made the shocking admission to The Sun when they queried rumours about whether he had ever thrown up inside the palace walls.
The former Take That singer informed the publication: "Threw up in Buckingham Palace? No, I smoked a spliff in Buckingham Palace."
Going commando
Never one to abide by the rules, the late Vivienne Westwood once decided to ditch the knickers when she went to receive her OBE from the Queen in 1992.
The trailblazer twirled around in the palace courtyard waiting for paps to take her picture, looking dazzling in a grey skirt suit with black platform heels.
Though the designer, who sadly died in December last year, noted how she apparently heard the Queen found the photo pretty amusing: "I heard that the picture amused the Queen."
Bathroom romps
In 2017, TV presenter Steve Jones claimed he had sex with his wife in the toilet at Buckingham Palace.
The Welsh hunk made the admission on Through The Keyhole when asked by host Keith Lemon about the most famous house he has been in.
Revealing it was the Queen's home, Steve then said: “For like a charity thing, I took my wife with me and we had sex in the bathroom."
Keith, taken aback, then quizzed further: "Did you really?" with the presenter giving him a nod, as MailOnline reports.
‘Sh*gging at the Palace’
It seems Steve isn’t the only one to have apparently gotten freaky at Buckingham Palace, as former I’m A Celeb star Ruthie Henshall revealed she "sh*gged Prince Edward” at the residence.
During her stint on I’m A Celeb in 2020, Ruthie’s co-star Shane Richie told his campmates that he "performed at the Palace during lockdown".
The West End sensation then dropped the bombshell that she "sh*gged in the bedrooms" of the Palace.
Ruthie said as she walked past: "You performed in Buckingham Palace, you sang in the gardens, I sh*gged in the bedrooms."
'Taking cocaine'
Comedian and close friend to King Charles Stephen Fry confirmed that Buckingham Palace was one of the many high-profile locations that he had experimented with drugs.
Fry confessed to taking cocaine in the toilets of Buckingham Palace as well as the House of Lords, the House of Commons and the BBC Television Centre in his memoir More Fool Me.
The star didn't detail the exact occasions or reasons he took cocaine, but he used the opportunity within the book to apologise.
Flirting with royals
Who could ever forget the iconic moment when Geri Horner aka Ginger Spice broke royal protocol during a brief engagement with the then Prince Charles.
According to publication Time, the Spice Girls first met Prince Charles at a charity gala for the Prince's Trust Charity in May 1997.
The magazine reported that Mel B and Geri both kissed the prince on the cheek, which is a "breach of royal protocol".
Although the pair left evident signs of red lipstick on his face, confident Geri took things a step further which left everyone in the room giggling in surprise.
Geri initially told Prince Charles she found him "very sexy".
Then she went on to touch the prince’s behind.
