Stormzy and Maya Jama ‘texting again’ as he appears to admit cheating on track

Rapper Stormzy and ex Maya Jama are reportedly 'texting again' after he appeared to apologise for cheating on new track Lessons.

According to The Sun, the star has "made peace" with Maya because of the song, which features on new album Heavy Is The Head.

The track saw him say he had "done the dirt", before going on to say: "Fast forward now and my nephew is still asking for his Aun- tie Maya.

"Guess this is the karma for what I done to Maya… Greatest love I ever knew, I poured it down the drain."

Later lyrics also seemed to suggest the pair were considering having a baby.

They read: "You cannot imagine how I'm sorry, man, I’m showing you.

"Now I haven’t even got the luxury of knowing you. We was even meant to share a seed and let it grow in you."

A source told The Sun today: "Stormzy has been texting Maya.

"He knew that he would bring their relationship centre stage again by releasing a track about it, and he felt it was right to reach out.

"Now they are getting on well again."

It's claimed the pair's close friends are even hoping that the pair will now give their relationship another chance.

Maya and Stormzy, real name Michael Ebenazer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr, dated for four years but split in August this year.

Announcing their split at the time, a representative told Metro.co.uk: "Yes, I can confirm the relationship has ended and Maya has separated from Stormzy."

Rumours then began circulating that Stormzy had cheated but the rapper slammed the claims at the time.

Stormzy's rep told the Metro: "I can confirm any accusations or reports surrounding Stormzy’s infidelity to Maya are categorically not true."
