Starting in 2008, Amy was regularly featured on the TLC reality show 19 Kids and Counting, which focused on the life of her maternal uncle Jim Bob Duggar’s large conservative family.
As viewers at home followed the Duggar’s ever-expanding family, they also got a taste of their strict family beliefs.
One of these beliefs, which each family member followed, was to be of purity, modesty and faith in God.
However, in a new clip shared with her 436,000 Instagram followers, Amy seeming broke one of these family values.
Taking to social media on Tuesday, Amy posted a series of Instagram stories, in which she defied her family’s strict dress code by donning a sexy outfit.

It appeared the reality star was not afraid to go against her uncle Jim Bob’s modesty rules.
Amy gave fans a glimpse into her personal life this week, as she opted for a short, red sundress exposing her bare legs and arms.
She completed the look with a pair of white trainers, sunglasses, and her brunette hair in a high bun.
The choice of outfit seemingly wasn’t approved by the Duggar patriarch and his wife, Michelle, as their guidelines require women to dress conservatively, covering their legs with long dresses or skirts.

However, Amy wore the daring outfit while donating a bag full of clothing to a local thrift store.
She filmed herself carrying the large plastic bag from the boot of her car to the shop’s employee at the store’s back entrance.
The TLC personality tagged the thrift store in the post and explained how her viewers could also donate like her.
The caption read: “Also WE DONATE HERE AS WELL! We gotta make room For all the new goodies! and then after I donate them back!”
Amy is no stranger to going against her famous family’s strict beliefs when it comes to her outfit choices and parenting decisions.
It comes after the TV personality stepped out in a daring pink dress, revealing much of her body with its plunging neckline and short length, earlier this month.
She posed for a photo of herself as she soaked up the sun on a summer’s day whilst on a walk with her three-year-old son, Dax, who she shares with her husband, Dillon King.
