Colt Johnson was laid off during the COVID pandemic

During the 90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined series, Colt received a troubling phone call from his boss that revealed he was laid off. He was working for Konami Gaming, Inc as a software engineer until April 2020. He had to break the news to his mother, Debbie Johnson, and they discussed both of them looking for work.

In the special, Debbie wasted no time in finding work. She applied for a job with a food delivery company. The 69-year-old masked up and headed out to make money for the family.

Colt appears on 90 Day: The Single Life with his wife, Vanessa Guerra, and his mom. Debbie’s journey to find love is being documented in season 2 of The Single Life. On the premiere episode, Colt broke the news that he would be moving with Vanessa to a new house, just the two of them. Fans are wondering, did Colt find a new job? How is he able to afford to move out into a new house?

Back in Oct 2020, Colt posted a photo of himself in front of his car on Instagram. Fans noticed that there was a “Uber” sticker in the corner of the windshield of his car. This made fans believe that Colt had been working for the driving service.

Fans remember that Colt was studying with Vanessa for his real estate license while unemployed during the pandemic. Whether or not Colt passed his exam and received his real estate license is still unclear. It appears that Colt’s messy love life has become one of his biggest money-makers. 90 Day Fiancé stars’ estimated paychecks are $1,000 an episode and $2,500 for tell-all episodes.

What is next for Colt?

According to his Linkedin account, Colt has been working on a new project, ColtDotWin, since Feb 2021. Colt is the sole proprietor of the small start-up and only lists himself as the employee. His profile reads, “In addition to his passion for creating content to be enjoyed by others, he is very passionate about education and the pursuit and availability for knowledge to all.”

According to Linkedin, “In 2021, Colt created ColtDotWin, a multimedia company with the focus on blending entertainment and education for the masses.” Colt has a website for ColtDotWin; however, other than a graphic at the top of the page and a title, the rest of the website is blank. It appears that Colt’s start-up idea is still in the works.

Also, Colt has an only fans account, which probably helps rake in the dough as well. Other than that, it’s unclear how Colt is making his money. Fans will have to tune into The Single Life Season 2 to learn more about Colt, Vanessa, and Debbie, Fridays on discovery+.
