Apprentice star Scarlett Allen-Horton’s kids’ dad was jailed for role in £1.6million drug smuggling ring – The Sun

APPRENTICE star Scarlett Allen-Horton had to raise her two kids alone after their dad was jailed for his role in a £1.6million drug smuggling ring.

The telly contestant’s partner Clayton Stephenson, 33, got more than seven years in 2013 when her youngest was one.

And he got a further eight in 2016 for helping to organise a multi-million cocaine and heroin deal from behind bars.

The crook was linked to a notorious P1 gang, based out of Coventry.

Stephenson made nearly £500,000 from the scam but told the proceeds of crime act hearing in 2014 revealed he had spent the cash on designer trainers and living a lavish lifestyle.

A source close to Scarlett said: “She has had a really tough time being a single mum after her partner was banged up.

“But she has worked herself into the ground.”

Scarlett, 32, had two girls, now 11 and eight, with Stephenson, who said he was car salesman.

She lead the winning girls team on this series first show where her team beat the boys in a tourism challenge based in Cape Town, South Africa.

The recruitment specialist from Birmingham previously said: "I am an achiever.

"I have been the highest performer across every workplace I have worked within." She also claims that people "will often buy into her as a person".

There is no suggestion she knew about his drug dealing.
