The Great British Bake Off will be making a welcome return to TV screens on Tuesday 26 September, with presenter Noel Fielding welcoming Alison Hammond as his new co-host.
Comedian and actor Noel, 50, previously hosted the hit Channel 4 show with fellow comic Matt Lucas, 49, but following Matt's departure, Alison, 49, will now be fronting GBBO with him.
Noel has proven to be a hit with fans after joining GBBO in 2017, with his witty one-liners and eccentric taste in shirts and jumpers.
As we welcome him back to our screens, here we take a look into The Mighty Boosh star's life off-screen…
50 year old star Noel lives a quiet life away from the cameras and tends to keep his personal life private, including his relationship and family.
The comedian is in a longterm relationship with Lliana Bird, 42, who he reportedly began dating back in 2010. The couple welcomed their first daughter in 2018, who they named Dali, after the artist Salvador Dali. They welcomed their second daughter in August 2020, named Iggy.
Noel and Lliana mainly keep their romance private and rarely share photos of one another on social media, however Lliana did post a gushing tribute on Noel's 50th birthday.
The mum-of-two posted a fun snap of Noel along with the caption: "Babius. We love you more than you'll ever know. Half a century of the wonder that is you. You've made our whole lives, the two most incredible girls in the world are because of you. I hate this bulls*** posting stuff but baby, you're so cool. You're so cool. You're so. Cool. Xx".
While Noel found fame when his comedy career took off in the early 2000s, Lliana has carved out her own impressive career in the spotlight. The multi-talented star is a writer, director, actress and podcaster.
Lliana, also known as Birdy, presents the evening show on Radio X, and has also appeared on Sky News and BBC Breakfast. She also writes for Huffington Post and presents weekly podcast Geek Chic's Weird Science.
Lliana also co-founded charities Help Refugees and the Kindly Collective.
Most recently, Lliana released her debut children's book, Babboo The Unusual Bee, which was published by Rocket Bird Books.
