Boris Johnson will be the mane attraction in the return of spoof comedy Spitting Image

A WILD-haired Boris Johnson puppet looks the mane attraction in the return of TV’s Spitting Image.

He’s a top target for the satirical show, which ran from 1984 to 1996.

Others include his adviser Dominic Cummings and embattled Prince Andrew.

The Prime Minister’s puppet draws attention to his hair, while Mr Cummings’ puppet sees the former Vote Leave chief in his regulation hoodie with a flamboyant silver collar.

Meanwhile Andrew's sports a tartan coat complete with paisley neckerchief.

A poster for the new series revealed Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, Harry and Meghan, Elon Musk, Kanye West and James Corden will also get the satirical treatment.

Original co-creator Roger Law is returning to helm the show and its creative team.

He said: "The new Spitting Image will be global through a uniquely British eye, it will be more outrageous, audacious and salacious than the previous incarnation.

"With scandalous scripts and A-list characters, it will be the people’s programme!"

At its peak, Spitting Image was watched by 15million people in the UK, but after a decline in viewing figures, it was cancelled in 1996.

The series airs later this year on streaming service BritBox.
