Britney Spears escapes conservatorship row and dad's child abuse allegations with holiday to Hawaii

BRITNEY Spears escaped the ongoing conservatorship row and her dad's child abuse allegations with a holiday to Hawaii.

The 37-year-old star took to her social media page to reveal that she'd jetted to the sun-drenched island amid the latest family drama.

Posting on Instagram, Britney shared two photos of herself posing in a bright yellow bikini in a glittering blue swimming pool.

In the first, she is standing in the centre of the pool, staring out at the stunning scenic view.

The second shows the pop superstar stretching on the ledge, with one arm on her hip.

Britney also shared a video of the beautiful ocean view from her hotel balcony.

She made no reference to her personal life as she captioned the snaps: "My stay in Maui was unbelievable ….. I’m already planning my next stay !!!!!"

Earlier this month, US reports said that Britney's dad Jamie is being investigated for allegedly abusing her 13-year-old son, Sean.

According to TMZ, the singer's ex Kevin Federline filed a police report at the Ventura County Sheriff’s station accusing the 66-year-old of being involved in a "physical altercation" with their eldest child.

The site has claimed that the former backing dancer has accused Jamie of "breaking down a door and grabbing" the teen in an heated exchange.

Sources told the publication there were "no visible bruises or injuries" on Sean, although Kevin saw the incident, that happened a week ago, serious enough to warrant a report to the police with his lawyer.

Federline's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan told People: "Britney did the right thing and removed the children and took them out of there.

He added that Federline still wants his ex-wife to have "continuing and meaningful contact with their mother."

Following the claims, Us Weekly have claimed that Sean, 13, and Jayden, 12, have been granted a restraining order against their grandfather.

The news comes a day after it was revealed that Britney had adjusted her child custody arrangement with ex Kevin, which will see her getting less access to her sons.

According to TMZ, the singer's former husband has been granted 70% custody of their children while she will have only have 30% unsupervised custodial rights.

Previously, the former couple shared custody of their boys 50/50. However as of August 28, Britney, 37, and Kevin, 41, formalised their new arrangement.

Despite their updated agreement, the site claimed that the couple's 70/30 custody split has been in place since August 2018.

Sources close to the site said that the past 12 months were a test period to see how the boys would adjust to the new arrangement.

Britney married Kevin in 2004 and welcomed two sons with the backing dancer before they separated in 2007.

It has also been reported that Britney's dad will seek to take a temporary break from being her conservator.

He is keen for Britney's 'care manager' Jodi Montgomery to have the same powers he has with regards to overseeing Britney's welfare, while he deals with his own health problems.

Her mother Lynne will attend the court hearing having previously been involved in trying to gain conservatorship of her daughter.

A conservatorship is a court case that sees a judge appoint a responsible person or organisation to care for another adult.

In this instance, Britney's father Jamie has been her conservator since 2008 – a year after the star suffered a highly-publicised breakdown that saw her shave her head and attack the paparazzi with an umbrella.
