CAROL Kirkwood has returned to BBC Breakfast in an 'amazing' dress with a plunging neckline after being replaced.

The weather presenter, 60, has been a staple part of the programme for decades now.

However, she was replaced last week in yet another presenter shakeup.

Rarely-seen stand-in host Sarah Keith-Lucas was on hand to take over from absent Carol.

Sarah delivered the weather report to viewers at home, promising that the chilly temperatures were set to stick around.

But fans have been left delighted after Kirkwood returned to screens on Monday morning.

Carol brought viewers through the latest forecast as she wore a low neckline floral pattern dress.

Taking to social media, fans rushed to compliment Carol.

One said: "Hey Carol I’m loving your sense of humour also your amazing dress sense. Great weather as always."

Another posted: "Morning Carol my beautiful friend."

Meanwhile, BBC Breakfast viewers were all saying the same thing about Sally Nugent's outfit.

Sally, 52, was on the BBC Breakfast sofa on Monday alongside Jon Kay once again.

She wore a navy long sleeve dress with a gorgeous start print in pink.

Sally teamed it with a dainty silver bracelet and necklace.

Viewers at home took to Twitter to show their admiration for Sally's ensemble.
