Ken Barlow (played by Bill Roache) has been struggling to fit in at Still Waters after moving from Coronation Street a couple of weeks ago, but this week saw him conquer the retirement homes resident bully after discovering Charles Moore (Michael Elwyn) had been swindling everyone. But in emotional scenes tonight, Ken revealed he couldn’t live at Still Waters anymore and moved out and broke up with Claudia Colby (Rula Lenska). But the actress has now reportedly quit the ITV show for good.

Ken made the moved from One Coronation Street to Still Waters retirement home not three weeks ago after months of convincing from Claudia.
But, from the moment he walked in the door, Ken knew it wasn’t for him and set about looking for new challenges to distract himself.
He was pleased when he discovered Norris Cole (Malcolm Hebden) was also living there but it still wasn’t enough.
Then, Ken came across the Still Waters bully, Charles, who as it turns out had been swindling money from the residents and pocketing the money for himself.

In gallant scenes this week on the ITV show, Ken and Charles went head to head to decide who should be head of the resident’s society.
Ken announced Charles had been stealing money from the guests and the Weatherfield longtimer was announced the winner.
But, Ken didn’t want the accolade, nor did he want any role in Still Waters, he just wanted to go back to One Coronation Street where he had lived for the last 60 years.
On Monday, after the election, in a chat with Claudia, Ken revealed he felt completely out of place in Still Waters.
He said: “Out of my depth is probably a better way of putting it. These just aren’t my people!”
Claudia sighed and said: “Darling, you used to be a big fish in a little pond.”
“You don’t want to be here at all, do you?” she asked.
And tonight Ken and Claudia said a fond farewell and Ken moved back to Weatherfield.

Claudia said: “You’re really going after all I’ve done for you and your family.”
Ken replied: “I’ll reimburse you for the cost of Peter’s rehabilitation programme and I’ll make sure you’re not out of pocket for this place.”
Claudia played a hairdresser on the cobbles on and off since 2009, but returned fully in 2018 and quickly moved in with Ken.
She bought Audrey Roberts’ (Sue Nicholls) Salon before moving in with Ken and convincing him to move to Still Waters.

However, it has now been reported Rula Lenska who plays Claudia has quit the ITV show.
A source told The Sun Online: “The door is definitely open for Rula to return and Claudia still has connections on the street.
“But for now Claudia’s life is on the veranda of Stillwaters and Ken belongs in his backstreet boozer.”
But, how will Ken cope being in a crowded house with Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) and Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson)?
