Coronation Street's Millie Gibson looks VERY different to homeless Kelly as glam actress poses by a Christmas tree

CORONATION Street star Millie Gibson has been spotted looking VERY different from her homeless character Kelly in a new snap.

The soap star has been spotted posing by a Christmas tree in a swanky hotel lobby for her latest Instagram post, having glammed up in an all-black outfit.

Millie, 16, plays teen character Kelly Neelan – who was recently made homeless after being released from prison – in the ITV soap.

It's been a tough time for her character, who was wrongly accused and sent to jail over Seb Franklin's murder in tense scenes earlier this year.

When Corey Brent was finally arrested for the killing, Kelly was housed in supported living accommodation before leaving to sleep on the street.

The teen faced a number of dangerous situations on the street, including having all her belongings stolen by other rough sleepers.

She was forced to go and stay with a man named Alan, who tried to coax her to sleep with him for money, brutally attacking her before she escaped.

Soap character Kelly was at last taken in the Aadi Alahan and his family – and luckily for Millie, her life off-screen is much more stable.

In a new snap, the star couldn't look further away from Kelly, having swapped a tracksuit and sleeping back for a black skirt suit adorned with gold buttons.

She added patterned tights and a pair of shiny black shoes, as well as a hat to complete her chic look as she smiled for the camera.

Millie wore her blonde locks down over her shoulders, and looked to be sporting a soft palette of make-up including a pink lip.

Fans were quick to flood the comments section with compliments for the star, calling her "beautiful" and "unreal".

"You look beautiful," wrote fellow Corrie actress Sally Carman, who plays Abi Franklin – while Summer Spellman actress Harriet Bibi added: "Love it."

Elle Mulvaney, who plays Amy Barlow, chimed in with a fire emoji, while Tanisha Gorey, who plays Asha Alahan, concluded: "I'm your biggest fan."
