Next week’s Coronation Street sees fear in abundance, as Daisy Midgeley’s (Charlotte Jordan) trauma at the hands of stalker Justin escalates, leading her to call the police.
And when she gets a wreath of funeral flowers, she fears the worst. As Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) comes face to face with Justin, how will he intervene?
Meanwhile, the sinister behaviour of Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan) is cause for concern for Fiz and Tyrone (Jennie McAlpine and Alan Halsall).
When she takes vengeful action over Cilla’s death, it’s time to work out what to do about the demon child.
And David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) has serious parenting issues of his own to deal with, as the charges against Max Turner (Paddy Bever) are upped to Encouragement of Terrorism.
Can they get through this?

Monday January 30
Having received an email from Max’s solicitor, a worried David tells Gail and Stephen that they’re escalating Max’s charge to Encouragement of Terrorism. Max’s solicitor, Harriet, calls at No.8 and tells David that in her view, Max was groomed by Griff and was very much a victim.
David’s pleased to have her on board and assures her that he’ll find the money for her fees as he wants the best possible defence for Max. But can they raise the funds?

Hope confides in Sam how she intends to have her revenge for Cilla’s murder and needs his help. In the factory, Beth tells Fiz she’s sorry about Cilla, but at the end of the day, she was only a posh rat.
Fiz is incensed and Carla has to step in before a fight breaks out. On Hope’s instructions, Sam reluctantly cons Maria into handing over Vin-Diesel the weasel from the barber’s.
Ordering Sam to go, Hope carefully places Vin Diesel’s mouth around the skin of her arm. Hope approaches Peanut and lets out a scream. Will she get her revenge?
At No.1, Daisy tells Daniel and Christina how she intends to drum up some freebies for the wedding through her social marketing. At Daisy’s request, Daniel calls at Preston’s Petals and asks Tracy if she’ll provide the wedding flowers free of charge. Tracy’s seriously unimpressed.
As is Christina when Daisy shows her a photo of the freebie wedding dress she’s managed to bag herself. When Daisy receives several messages on her phone from Justin asking why she blocked him she deletes them, clearly worried.
Gemma accuses Chesney of putting his business venture before their wedding. Paul calls at No.5 to find Gemma swamped with kids.
When Gemma explains that she’s no choice as Chesney’s blown the wedding fund on his burger project Paul tells them he wants to chip in towards the wedding if they will stop arguing.
As Nick and Leanne set the bistro up for the Boozy Night event, Damon tells them that he’ll fetch his DJ kit as it’s important to create the right vibe. While Tracy, Amy and Carla knock back cocktails and discuss Max’s guilty plea, Nick’s deeply concerned to clock Damon showing Sam how to use his DJ equipment.
Wednesday February 1
Daniel tells a disappointed Daisy that he can’t make the wedding fair. Daisy confides in Glenda that Justin is proving to be a pest and she advises Daisy to tell Daniel.
Glenda tells Christina and Jenny that Daisy’s being bombarded with messages from Justin. At the wedding fair, Daisy posts a selfie, unaware that there’s a poster in the background.
Meanwhile, Gemma and Chesney peruse the wedding stalls. Whilst Daisy tries on a wedding dress, the owner of the stall tells her that her fiancé has arrived. Justin reveals how he saw her selfie online. Daisy’s completely freaked out to realise that Justin thinks they’re engaged and threatens to call the police.
In the Rovers, Daisy describes her ordeal to Daniel when Glenda emerges with a funeral arrangement of flowers for her. Daisy assumes they are from Justin. Gemma and Chesney tell Jenny they’d like to book their wedding reception on 8th May.
When Jenny reveals that Daniel and Daisy are getting married that day too, Gemma points out to Chesney that it will save them money with so few guests. Daisy and Daniel head home and come face to face with Justin. Justin jumps in his delivery van and roars off.
Tyrone catches Hope sneaking out of the backyard carrying David’s stuffed weasel, is the game up for Hope? Meanwhile, Beth confronts Hope. Hope returns home in tears and reveals that Beth slapped her in the face. Fiz and Tyrone confront Beth over Hope’s allegation. Beth denies she did anything of the sort.
Nick arrives home and is annoyed to find Damon discussing new business ideas for the bistro with Leanne. With the bistro fully booked, Leanne calls Damon as they could do with an extra pair of hands.
As Damon heads behind the bar, Nick watches him with growing unease. In the bistro, Damon flirts with Dee-Dee. Dee-Dee’s flattered and Nick scowls at Damon.
David confides in Maria that Max is refusing to take his calls. In the café, Alya assures David that he’s not to blame for Max’s actions.
Alone at No.8, David knocks back whisky in a bid to blot out his worries about Max. David tells Maria that Max pleaded guilty and is now awaiting sentencing.
Friday February 3
Sam asks Damon for some tips on fighting and Damon’s happy to give him advice. Damon tells Nick that he’s expecting a delivery of drugs at the bistro this afternoon and it’s up to him to deal with it.
Conny approaches Sam in the school corridor but to Conny’s surprise, Sam stands up to her. Nick takes a call from the school informing him that Sam’s been in a fight. Sam explains about Damon’s advice and Nick’s furious while Leanne’s baffled at Nick’s overreaction.
Nick confesses to Leanne that Damon is Harvey’s brother and he’s using the bistro for drug deliveries. How will Leanne react?
Daniel spots Justin on the street and warns him to stay away from Daisy. Justin tells Daisy that he’s prepared to back off to give her time to break the news to Daniel that she doesn’t love him any more.
Daisy’s thrilled to receive a sample wedding invitation and immediately takes a selfie to post on her socials.
Eileen returns from Thailand and George, Todd, Sean and Mary welcome her home. Eileen presents Todd with some boxing gloves from Thailand and insists he and George give them a go.
George takes a swing at Todd, accidentally cracking his tooth. Sean and Laurence find Todd nursing his cracked tooth. Sean books him an appointment with Laurence, how will Todd react?
Fiz suggests to Beth that the four of them should sit down and talk through the incident with Hope but when Hope returns home and is furious and storms out.
When Dev reveals that his golfing partner has let him down, Bernie offers to step in. In the Rovers, Bernie lords it over sulky Dev and tells Chesney how she thrashed him at golf. When Bernie takes a call from the ladies’ golf captain asking her to take part in next week’s trials, Dev does his best to be pleased for her.
