Corrie’s Fiz has kids ripped away from her by social services over Hope’s lie

Fiz Brown will left utterly devastated as her children are ripped away from her in harrowing scenes on Coronation Street next week.

As Evelyn suggests that Jade move out of the house, social care provider Christine rings round at No. 9 and informs Fiz and Tyrone that various doctors have raised concerns about Hope's injuries.

The social worker then proceeds to quiz the horrified couple over Hope's injuries and says that their version of events doesn't match up with Hope's.

Fiz and Tyrone are even more horrified when they hear that Hope has confirmed the allegations when asked about them at Bessie Street.

As a result, the social workers tell them that Hope and Ruby will have to live elsewhere as they conduct a thorough investigation.

Kevin offers that they stay at his, but the girls end up escaping to Fiz's backyard.

"The girls sneak away from Kevin’s and Fiz finds them in the back yard," actress Jennie McAlpine, who plays Fiz, explains. "Jade has been watching and reports it to social services who say that the girls must now go into care as Fiz has breached their terms."

Things go from bad to worse for Fiz as the police call round at No. 9 and take her and Tyrone in for questioning about the gun used in the Christmas Day shooting.

When she returns to the street, she and Gary are relieved that they both stuck to the same story and that the only gun they are aware of is the antique one in the shop.

But Tyrone warns his partner that she could have made matters worse by lying to the police.

Soap star Jennie warned that there is "worse to come" for Fiz.

Asked whether Fiz would have any sympathy for Jade when her true identity as John Stape's daughter is exposed, she said: "Fiz is a mother and a caring person, she will understand that Jade is a victim in all of this too but first of all she has to try and clear her name.

"Jade has caused the family so many problems and there is worse to come."
