'Counting On': Anna Duggar's Posting About Thanksgiving While Fans Are Wondering What Happened With Josh Duggar

Whether you watch TLC’s Counting On or you’re familiar with the Duggar family thanks to the multiple times they’ve made news headlines over the years, there’s no doubt the family is controversial. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar originally brought their 19 kids into the spotlight via reality TV. And now, it’s their adult kids, spouses, and families who are taking the reigns.

Josh Duggar is no longer featured on TLC due to past controversies, but his wife, Anna, certainly keeps her fans apprised with what’s going on in their lives via Instagram. And more recently, we know Homeland Security was recently involved with the Duggars — and all eyes are on Josh. As for Anna, she’s choosing not to recognize the drama and is instead focusing on Thanksgiving. Here’s what she posted.

Homeland Security paid Josh Duggar’s car lot a visit recently

There’s been a lot of buzz surrounding the Duggars recently, as KNWA reported on Nov. 20 that the Department of Homeland Security was at Josh Duggar’s car lot. While the news station originally said Homeland Security was at the Duggar family residence, this seems to not have been the case. And the Duggars also spoke out against this rumor.

“I can’t speak to the status of any ongoing investigation. But, I do not dispute that we were present at that specific address,” Homeland Security Investigation spokesperson Brian Cox said. “I can’t speak to any individual that may be under investigation. So I can confirm that we were at that address. And spoke to individuals at that location. But I can’t discuss any individuals by name.”

As for the Duggar’s retort, they posted a note to their Instagram Story. “We were shocked to see a news report today state that our home was raided by federal law enforcement agencies,” the statement reads. “This is not true. To the best of our knowledge, it’s also not true that any member of our family is the target of any investigation of any kind.”

The Duggar family hasn’t given any information regarding the news

As for the latest, details regarding the investigation are still murky, though everyone assumes Josh has something to do with it since investigators visited his lot. Radar Online even attempted to access files regarding the raid under the Freedom of Information Act, but their request was denied. Now, fans are left to speculate what the visit from investigators could have been about — and everything from human trafficking to tax evasion or money laundering has been speculated.

The Duggars themselves haven’t posted any info, either. Most of the family members haven’t spoken about it at all, and aside from the Duggar Family Instagram denying the investigation, they haven’t posted anything else, either. Jed, who announced he’s running for Arkansas State Representative, did touch on the raid — but he noted he doesn’t know anything. “I don’t live there, and I am not aware of any investigation,” he told KNWA.

Amy Duggar did add a photo of her with her newborn baby to Twitter with an interesting caption, however. “I’m in newborn bliss and I’m just going to ignore the rest,” she wrote with the post.

Anna Duggar is posting about Thanksgiving amidst the chaos

? T H A N K S G I V I N G ? Growing up Thanksgiving was one of the most anticipated holidays for my family. One of my favorite traditions was making a “Thanksgiving Chain” made up of one inch strips of construction paper. On each link we would write something that happened in the past year we were thankful for! Then we would hang the chain in our dining room and on Thanksgiving evening my family would take down the chain and spend time reading through each item remembering many of the special things from the previous year and closing with a time of prayer thanking God for His blessings! It’s so sweet to keep this tradition going with our children (all of my siblings have continued this with their families as well)! As long as we’re not in labor (baby six is due on Thanksgiving Day!), we look forward to reading our Thanksgiving chain and remembering all the many blessings God has given us! What are some of your favorite Thanksgiving traditions? #littleduggars

Despite the chaos surrounding the Duggars, Anna is still taking to Instagram to share what she’s up to for the holidays. “Growing up Thanksgiving was one of the most anticipated holidays for my family,” Josh’s wife captioned her post. “One of my favorite traditions was making a ‘Thanksgiving Chain’ made up of one inch strips of construction paper. On each link we would write something that happened in the past year we were thankful for!”

She then added that her family would read through the chain and thank God for all the wonderful blessings. And after that, she noted she hopes to keep the traditions alive with all of her kids, though she may be in labor, as Thanksgiving is her due date for baby No. 6.

Many suspect Anna shares so much of her life on Instagram because she’s suffering in her marriage with Josh. There’s little actual evidence to support this, but her fans are reacting nicely to her Thanksgiving post and showing their love.

“Beautiful family! I’m thankful for the example you all set!” one fan commented.

We’re not sure if Anna will make any comments about the situation with Homeland Security or Josh’s involvement. For now, it looks like she’s focused heavily on her upcoming baby and spending time with her kids on turkey day.
