DAN Osborne has been begging his pals back in the UK to lie for him – after it was revealed he enjoyed a steamy threesome with reality star beauties Natalie Nunn and Chloe Ayling.
The Only Way Is Essex star, 28, is said to be "having a meltdown" in Australia as he waits for wife Jacqueline Jossa to exit – or win – the reality show.
It comes after The Sun revealed that he took his fellow Celebrity Big Brother co-stars, Chloe, 22 and Natalie, 34, on a wild night out that ended up in a steamy sex tryst in a London hotel room.
A source close to Dan said: "He is absolutely distraught – he knows he's f**ked up but he's trying his best to save his marriage.
"He just cannot bear to tell Jac he cheated on her – so he's trying everything he can to get out of it.
"Dan posted his denials on social media – then he started asking other people to cover for him.
"He asked his mates in England if they would lie for him – and asked them if they would pretend he was somewhere else that night.
"He even asked if they would talk to Jac and say it wasn't true – but a lot of his friends like Jac – and it's put them in a really tough position.
"Dan knows that unless he persuades Jac it didn't happen – this is the end of his marriage. He's dreading her coming out and learning about this.
"But he loves her and is so desperate to save things, he thinks it's kinder just to deny what went on – and try to fix it."
It comes after Chloe Ayling told how she romped with Dan and US reality star Natalie in London after a boozy night clubbing.
She told how Natalie and Dan had full sex in front of her and he performed a sex act on her.
The trio were so noisy that hotel staff knocked on their door and Chloe and Dan had to leave at around 6am.
She told The Sun: “At the time it felt as though we were just having fun but now I realise how wrong it was.”
The wild sex tryst came the same day as Dan's wife posted a picture of him on Instagram with the caption: “It’s so good to have this man back, I love you always.”
The three stars spent the night at St Martin’s Lane hotel in London before leaving the following morning.
Chloe became a model and TV presenter after being kidnapped in Italy during a terrifying photo shoot.
She said: “Dan clearly loves Jacqueline because he’s married to her but he slept with Natalie in front of me that night."
Meanwhile Natalie’s husband Jacob has left her following the revelation, a source told Sun Online.
A spokesperson for Natalie refused to comment.
Despite Chloe’s testimony and evidence, as well as all the other occasions Dan has been accused of cheating, he still took to social media last night to claim the threesome didn’t happen.
He accused Chloe of having "no morals" on Twitter – and said he was taking legal advice.
