Dancing On Ice star Caprice’s very famous ex and his regrets about relationship

Caprice Bourret's no show on last week's Dancing On Ice was the talk of the show.

Hosts Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield revealed she had "parted ways" with her professional partner, Hamish Gaman – but gave no reason as to why.

But determined Caprice was back on the ice on Monday, working hard to make sure she would be ready to perform tonight.

She's even managed to fit a corporate event into her busy schedule.

Caprice wrote on Instagram: "Happy Tuesday … early call time 4.30am train to Leeds corporate speech #womeninbiz #mumpreneur #theharderyouworktheluckieryouget now back on the train to ice skating training @dancingonice @itv then #mommyduties #letsdothis."

Her fans can't wait to see her take to the ice with her new partner, Oscar Peter.

Philip Schofield confirmed Hamish would still remain a valued member of the professionals team but would not longer be teaching Caprice.

The reason for the skating duo dissolving their partnership remains a mystery but Caprice's millionaire husband, Ty Comfort, was uncomfortable about Hamish before the show even started.

The 48-year-old told OK! Magazine that her husband was fearful their relationship would be hit by the Dancing On Ice 'curse'.

She said: "When I first told him that I wanted to do this show, he was a little bit dubious about it, I’m not going to lie.

“I mean, there are these hot professional skaters who you are literally spending more time with you than your own spouse, so that was a conversation we had to have.

Before Caprice was a happily married mum-of-two she had her fair share of high profile romances.

One of her most famous partners was Arsenal legend, Tony Adams.

Caprice and Tony had a four month relationship back in 1999.

In his autobiography, Sober, the former player said: "Caprice made is plain she was attracted to me. I don't think it was purely physical – and there were plenty who would say I was punching above my weight.

"I liked her very much, she was an honest and sincere woman. And I have to say, I felt like a king in the company of this beautiful woman."

But ultimately he was the one who broke it off.

While the striker admits the couple had a strong mutual attraction he says their relationship ultimately broke down because there was no "emotional connection".

Adams added: "It felt like an act, that she was playing a game before and after she met me. The honesty and sincerity I saw initially got lost behind the facade."

However, that didn't mean he didn't have regrets about ending the relationship.

Adams said: "I did have second thoughts – and there is always regret when a relationship ends. But I knew it was right to move on."

Caprice tied the knot with her partner, Ty, in a secret ceremony before Christmas.

The couple have two sons, one of which was born by a surrogate after the model battled fertility problems.
