EastEnders spoilers: Shock return for Aunt Babe in the wake of Tina's death?

Sinister Aunt Babe could be set to return to EastEnders several years after her dramatic ousting from the Queen Vic as Annette Badland has dropped a cryptic clue that the love-to-hate character could soon reappear.

We last saw Babe put a curse on Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) and his family after her true colours were revealed again and she was given the boot – but at the time, Annette hinted this may not be the last we see of Babe.

The curse has turned out to have worked a charm with Linda (Kellie Bright) falling victim to an alcohol addiction, the couple nearly drowning in a boat crash, the Queen Vic being sold and Tina (Luisa Bradshaw-White) being murdered.

Remind us to never get on the bad side of Babe!

When Annette shared a video of an old Carter family scene on Twitter, one fan called for her to come back, suggesting it could happen as part of Tina’s disappearance storyline.

And Annette got hopes up when she replied: ‘Be careful what you wish for!’

Is Babe heading back into the fold amid the ongoing mystery around Tina. At the same time, she could try and weasel her way back in to act as a support for Mick as he tries to get justice against abuser Katy Lewis (Simone Lahbib).

Babe was a master manipulator and while her trifles looked good, the niceties stopped there as she abused Sylvie while she suffered with dementia and it was also revealed that she was instrumental in forcing teenage Shirley (Linda Henry) to give up Mick as a baby.
