The Queen Vic punters were thrilled when Mick (played by Danny Dyer) and Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) announced they had been crowned champions of the Best Pub in London 2020 competition. What was even better though was the pub owners and all of their regulars were invited to a boat party on the River Thames to celebrate, coinciding with the BBC One drama’s 35th anniversary. However, could Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) be killed while on board?
Keanu has been at the centre of many of the Eastenders’ storylines over the past year.
From his shocking affair with Phil Mitchell’s (Steve McFadden) wife Sharon (Letitia Dean) and getting her pregnant, to making it out alive with help from Martin Fowler (James Blye) and Linda who helped him fake his own death on Christmas Day in order to escape the Mitchells.
The last time we saw Keanu, he was at the airport saying goodbye to mother Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley), keeping his destination a secret.

Phil, son Ben (Max Bowden) and daughter Louise (Tilly Keeper) still believe Keanu is dead with Martin and Linda swearing never to tell anyone their secret or else feel the wrath of the Mitchell family.
However, Linda drunkenly confessed everything to best friend Sharon who then got her hands on the video showing Keanu was “shot” and gave it to the police, resulting in Phil and Ben being arrested.
The pair were let go and Phil decided to run off with Louise, her and Keanu’s daughter Peggy and mum Lisa Fowler (Lucy Benjamin).
Ben decided to stay in Walford so he could be with his daughter Lexi (Isabella Brown) as well as new love Callum Highway (Tony Clay).
Will Keanu Taylor be killed in Eastenders’ boat party?
Fans already know the airport scene was not actor Walters’ last as he has been spotted filming with the EastEnders crew by the River Thames.
So it does seem Keanu will be at the boat party after all but following Martin’s warning for him to “stay dead” and never return, why has he decided to come back?
Ben was the one who hired Martin as a hitman to kill Keanu so he could be seeking his revenge on the young Mitchell.
Alternatively, Louise has left the square with his daughter Peggy, so perhaps he found out about them leaving and desperately wanted to find out where they were.
But with Ben furious at him for betraying his family, could he be the one to push Keanu over the edge and into the River Thames?

There will be more than just the death of one character happening during the show’s anniversary week though.
An EastEnders source also confirmed Sharon would be having her baby on the boat as well.
They told The Sun: “Where better place for a major death than on the Thames itself, which is so central to the show?
“Trouble has been brewing in Walford for a while, and they decided it was the perfect occasion to see off a big name.
“It’s thought that as part of the dramatic scenes Sharon will give birth on the boat, but she is just one of many who could see themselves go overboard to an icy, watery death.”

Keanu and Sharon are just two of the possible characters who could be killed off.
According to bookmakers Ladbrokes, Keanu is one of three favourites to die on the show.
He is joined by Whitney Dean’s (Shona McGarty) stalker Leo King (Tom Wells) and Martin with 5/1.
Following them is Ben and Denise Fox (Diane Parish) with 11/2 and Mick and Linda with 6/1.
Sharon is still a favourite but further down the list with 8/1 odds.
Eastenders will continue tonight, Tuesday, January 28, at 7.30pm on BBC One.
