Emmerdale fans soon warmed to the idea of Rhona Goskirk (played by Zoe Henry) going into business with Moira (Natalie J Robb) after the vet was left a large sum of money by her late partner, Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough). However, just weeks after they decided to work together, cracks have already begun to show with Rhona lying to Moira about a new deal, leading fans to note a huge plot hole.

Rhona and Moira have both had turbulent years in the Dales with their respective love lives.

Moira saw her relationship with Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) come to an end after her affair with Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter).

Elsewhere, Rhona’s plan to start a new life in France was put to a stop after Graham was murdered earlier this year.

With both the women feeling unsatisfied with their current situations, Rhona put forward an idea to Moira.

The farmer was struggling to make ends meet up at Butlers Farm and it looked as though she might have to sell up.

Kim Tate (Claire King) came close to persuading her to take a lower offer due to the fact she was desperate to have the income.

Luckily, Rhona swooped in with a new idea after she had been left a small fortune by her beloved boyfriend, Graham.

Rhona said she would love to invest in the farm and go into partnership with Moira, which seemed like a fantastic idea at the time.

However, just weeks into their new venture, the pair are already at loggerheads over how to run their new business, which all came to a head yesterday.

Last night’s episode saw Rhona make a new discovery as her investment didn’t go as far as she had believed.

This led to fans of the ITV soap to start to question the deal and wondering why Rhona had not already checked the figures before investing.

One said: “Shouldn’t Rhona have checked the farm’s books before investing? I’d be livid if my investment only just covered the debt??!!!!”

When she spoke to Moira about the proposition, the latter told her colleague they would not be able to meet demand.

The deal ended up in the hands of Kim Tate (Claire King) and Rhona went behind Moira’s back to meet Nate after her new discovery.

He suggested splitting the deal in half, which she agreed to after some persuasion but made him promise he would let her tell Moira the news herself.

Nate agreed and Rhona soon told Moira she had managed to secure the opportunity – but will she tell the truth about how?
