Emmerdale spoilers: Liv to join Aaron Dingle as he decides to stay put with Debbie?

Emmerdale fans were left heartbroken when Aaron Dingle (played by Danny Miller) departed the village earlier this week after he struggled to cope with the absence of husband Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley). His exit saw him join Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) in Scotland but it appears the character has no plans to return soon – could Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) exit the Dales to join the pair?

Aaron and Robert decided to go on the run towards the end of last year after the death of Lee Posner (Kris Mochrie), who Robert had attacked.

Knowing he would be in serious trouble with the law, the pair planned to flee the Dales in the hope of a quieter life.

Robert soon decided to hand himself to the police after not wanting his husband to have to spend a life on the run with him.

ITV viewers have since seen Aaron on a downward spiral as he has desperately tried to get over the loss of his husband, who recently sent him divorce papers.

With Aaron reluctant to move on, he has sought comfort in a series of hook-ups.

However, he has taken out his frustrations and heartbreak on sister Liv and sister-in-law Victoria Barton (Isabel Hodgins).

He finally decided to try and get a hold on his life and take some time in the village after Zak Dingle (Steve Halliwell), who suggested he give Debbie some help up in Scotland.

Soap fans last saw Debbie on-screen back in August, where her character exited in order to seek a new opportunity away from the village.

The character left in order for actor Charley Webb, who plays Debbie, to go on maternity leave.

She welcomed third child, Ace, back in July and is still on leave from the soap.

However, speaking to The Sun, Charley revealed she has no plans to return to the soap “at the moment”.

She told the publication: “I’m still on maternity leave at the moment. It’s been good but three kids is a different ball game.”

Charley, whose husband Matthew Wolfenden stars as David Metcalfe in the soap, is certainly not short of drama.
