Emmerdale spoilers: Rhona Goskirk’s secret plan to exit thwarted by Marlon’s big mistake?

Emmerdale resident Rhona Goskirk (played by Zoe Henry) had a tough year last year and when the opportunity to move to France and take on a new job role arose, she jumped at the chance. Without a second thought, she and son Leo were going to embark on a new chapter, and it wasn’t long before boyfriend Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) suggested he should leave the Dales with them. However, an obstacle has risen within their plan and now, the vet must make a difficult decision.

In previous weeks, Rhona’s ex-partner Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) found out about her intentions to take their son Leo away with her to France.

Furious as to why Rhona wouldn’t consult him in the life-changing decision, he lashed out in anger and told her, under no circumstances will Leo be going anywhere.

In scenes which are set to air next week, official soap spoilers have revealed how Rhona and Marlon’s friendship disintegrates further.

After arriving to pick Leo’s PE kit up from Rhona’s house, the pair reflect on how far their relationship has fallen and it is made worse when Rhona goes to get Leo’s passport from the safe place she left it.

But, she is shocked to find it isn’t there and she thinks there is only one person who would sabotage her chance of leaving.

It isn’t long before she confronts Marlon over the passport’s disappearance and he is gobsmacked to be accused.

However, during their row, he takes over the questioning and asks Rhona why does she need Leo’s passport if they aren’t leaving anymore.

Marlon will guess she needs it because she is still thinking of going to France and this only riles the Woolpack chef up further.

Furious as to what has happened, the next time Rhona sees Graham she tells him she wants to leave as soon as possible and plans are set into motion for Monday as they depart.

However, there is speculation as to whether or not Rhona will really leave considering Graham’s fate.

It comes as the businessman will be killed in a revenge attack, with seven suspects all accused of doing the dirty.

When word gets around Graham was in fact murdered, will Rhona be forced to leave the village for a little while anyway in order to come to terms with losing her loved one?

As for who will be left with blood on their hands, there are several people who Graham has crossed.

Amongst them is Kim Tate (Claire King), she and Graham have had a love-hate relationship for several decades and after Graham destroyed her little family unit, she would happily see the back of him.

Marlon is another person who viewers should be wary of, after all, he is involved in the attempt to take Leo to France.

Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) is perhaps the most dubious suspect, while Graham played a minor role in Noah Dingle’s (Jack Downham) hospitalisation, he isn’t to blame for the young lad taking illegal substances.

And it would be rather far fetched for Charity to kill Graham in a bid to even the score.

Other people who are said to have killed Graham are Al Chapman, Andrea Tate (Anna Nightingale) and Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln).

In a couple of week’s time, a whole week of flashback episodes will air, taking viewers back to the night Graham was killed.

Each instalment will be from a different suspects perceptive as details emerge as to what really happened that night.

Emmerdale airs weekday evenings at 7pm on ITV.
