Emmerdale’s Zoe Henry confirms Rhona Goskirk’s fate after gruesome Graham murder

Emmerdale's Rhona Goskirk has some crummy luck in the dales this week, when her boyfriend Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) is found murdered.

Opening up about her character's future on the show, Zoe Henry revealed she will be "exploring new pastures" in upcoming scenes.

Speaking to Digital Spy, the 46-year-old actress laughed about Rhona's unfortunate taste in men in recent years.

She said: "She has an awful choice in men, clearly!

"I'm hoping she stays on her own for a while now because she has clearly got the worst taste in the world. I don't know why that is – it's the luck of the draw, I guess."

In recent scenes, Rhona and Graham worked up the courage to leave the village together to start an exotic new life in France.

The former vet expected to break a few hearts in the village, as she planned on taking her son Leo with her – behind his dad Marlon Dingle's (Mark Charnock) back.

Looking at Rhona's future on the show, Zoe added: "Rhona had been planning to leave and she's no longer at the vet's, so she'll be exploring new pastures, I think.

"Whether that means leaving the village, or new beginnings within Emmerdale, I don't know. But she certainly has a lot to sort out and a lot on her plate."

The soap star admitted she was as shocked as anyone by Graham's brutal murder, as the cast bid farewell to Andrew after over two years on the show.

She added: "We've all been kept in the dark as well. As the story has unfolded, we've been told little dribs and drabs. It's certainly been an unusual concept and I have enjoyed it."
