A simple dog walk turns into a dramatic medical emergency in upcoming Coronation Street scenes, a new spoiler video shows.
Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) gets more than she bargained for when she agrees to walk Freddie with Roy Cropper (David Neilson).
Roy became Freddie’s owner after his friend Melvyn sadly passed away, leaving the puppy behind.
At first, Roy struggled to get used to having a dog around, and even went so far as to drop him off at a dogs shelter.
However, he eventually had a change of heart, and has since officially adopted Freddie.
Their walk gets off to a good start, with Roy giving Evelyn the opportunity to bend his ear about dog training, before demonstrating her ability to get Freddie to sit.
As she begins a rant about diction and a lack thereof among the youth of today, it becomes clear that something isn’t quite right.
Freddie, who can clearly sense the change of atmosphere, kicks up quite a fuss, and with Evelyn focused on picking him up, Roy struggles to get her attention.
Eventually she realises that he is calling out to her, and finally notices that something is wrong.
As Roy struggles to catch his breath and complains about pains in his chest, Evelyn is horrified.
Will Roy be okay?
