Fate The Winx Saga season 2: Farah’s fate ‘sealed’ as fans spot magic clue

Fate: The Winx Saga teaser released by Netflix

WARNING: The following article contains spoilers from Fate: The Winx Saga.

The finale of Fate: The Winx Saga was amongst one of the most shocking in recent TV. Right when viewers thought they knew where the story was headed, they were thrown off by yet another curveball. The first season ended in the worst way possible for the Alfea College, with Rosalind (played by Lesley Sharp) killing Headmistress Farah Dowling (Eve Bes) in cold blood and taking over the school with her new crew. Alfea will look much different from now on but there might be hope Farah will return.

Farah was furious to learn Rosalind had been released and was intent on taking over control of Alfea College and insisted she wouldn’t get away with it.

But Rosalind ensured Farah could not stand in her way as she took control over the headmistress’ body using magic, making her levitate and snapping her neck.

Farah’s body was then placed in the ground and flowers grew over the top, hinting she was truly dead.

However, fans have now pointed out a tiny magic clue which may have revealed Farah isn’t dead after all.

Moments before she was killed, viewers saw Farah’s eyes light up, meaning she performed a spell.

Fans previously learned in the show that Farah is a mind fairy, meaning she can look into people’s minds and control them through thoughts, emotions and memories.

For this very reason, people were confused about why Farah would think that Rosalind would have let her go.

Rosalind was imprisoned by Farah for 16 years, so once she escaped and regained her magic, she didn’t plan to go lightly on her former protege.

In addition, Farah knew full well how ruthless Rosalind could be from her actions at Aster Dell.

“How could she not at least guess that Rosalind wouldn’t let her go? Even if she couldn’t use mind magic she spent years as Rosalind’s protege!” complained one fan on Reddit.

However other fans were quick to point out how Farah could have used her powers to save her skin.

“Farah is a mind fairy she probably knew that Rosalind is going to kill her so probably manipulated her mind,” said one user.

“I don’t think she is dead at all haha, especially coz her Eyes started lighting up before she got snapped by Rosalind. Probably used some kind of Magic in that moment (sic),” commented another.

A third pointed out: “Her eyes lit up just before she died. It’s an illusion.”

Another added: “She did some magic right before Rosalind ‘killed’ her. I think Farah is playing a long game: she is at a disadvantage now, and wants Rosalind to think she is dead, which gives her time to prepare and strike later.”

Others also pointed out how Farah’s character is essential to the show and needed to move the plot forward.

“I’m really hoping Farah isn’t dead. I’m livid. What was the point of showing a budding relationship with Bloom, only to kill her in the next second?” one fan complained.

“That’s it, I’m convinced she’s not dead. When they eventually defeat Rosalind, who would lead Alfea? Yep. She’s alive. No one’s gonna convince me otherwise.”

Meanwhile, other theories about Fate: The Winx Saga are cropping up everywhere. Some fans believe Rosalind might be Boom’s (Abigail Cowen) real mother.

She clearly knows a lot about the circumstances of Bloom’s birth but is hiding it from her. Fans are hoping more will come to light in season two.

Fate: The Winx Saga is on Netflix now.
