Abbie Holborn has reportedly been dropped from Geordie Shore for the second time.
The 25 year old first joined the cast of the popular MTV show in 2016, but was axed after series 17.
Abbie went on to make a comeback however, and returned as a part-time cast member a few months later.
She’s since said to have been dropped from the show again following its explosive Geordie Shore reunion last year.
Stars from all series of the show came together for the highly anticipated get together, with some going on to film a few episodes abroad together like the old times.
The likes of original cast members Gary Beadle andVicky Pattison were absent.
Following the popularity of the reunion series, a second one is said to potentially be in the pipeline – but it looks as if Abbie hasn’t been asked to take part.
A source toldThe Sun: "All the cast from the reunion series have been asked to come back for another run, apart from Abbie. She hasn't heard from the producers and is pretty gutted.
"It's especially hurtful because this isn't the first time the show has dropped her, but they brought her back once before so she's hopeful that might happen a second time and they will change their mind."
OK! have contacted both MTV and Abbie’s reps for comment.
Speaking ahead of the reunion airing last year, Abbie insisted that it had been “really good”.
She told Daily Star at the time: "It was really good, I was kind of in the middle of everyone because I was there when a lot of OGs were still there and I've lived with all the new cast too, so I think I'm kind of middle person who could bring people together.”
Meanwhile, original cast mate James Tindale spoke to OK! andshared a bizarre Geordie Shore house rule.
“The house has been baby proofed. There’s no sharp edges and, fun fact, there are actually no knives or scissors in the house,” he told us.
"There’s nothing like that so if we’re cooking, we have to be like ‘oh we need some utensils’. It’s crazy isn’t it? So I think that’s why the majority of the time everyone’s lived off takeaways as it’s just easier.”
James added: “I don’t know if it’s just a TV protocol or something, but as long as I remember there’s never been any sharp objects in the house.”
According to reports, new reunion episodes will air at some point this year.
