Holby City fans horrified as Jodie’s killer plan backfires leaving two in danger

Holby City fans were left horrified by Jodie Rodgers' (Sian Reese-Williams) actions in Tuesday night's episode.

She slipped some poison all over Beka Levy's (Francesca Barrett) dinner while she was in hospital, in an attempt to win back Sacha (Bob Barrett).

But it backfired when Sacha tried some of the food too, before collapsing while Beka was convulsing from a seizure.

Jodie's plan was immediately uncovered and the race was on to help Beka and Sacha – but fans were disgusted by her behaviour.

One said: "Can't be doing with all the psychopaths working a Holby City between Cameron and Jodie I mean come on!"

Another wrote: "WTF! She's a serial killer and she's a great actress too. Hello Holby City, it's back!"

A third tweeted: "Yes, poisoning his daughter will give him a change of heart… Sure…"

"Oh, come on. Poisoning a patient plus a nut job doctor roaming loose. This is too far-fetched even for Holby," another moaned.

A fifth added: "Jodie using murder as a means to draw a man into her arms in grief is awful."

While another went on: "No wonder Jodie's ex and family stay away."

Later in the episode, after he recovered, Sacha confronted Jodie, but she didn't seem to understand what she'd done wrong.

She told him: "That was the price I was willing to pay for you… for us."

But he spat back: "It's not love, it's sickness."

It's not the first time Jodie has poisoned Beka, as she slipped something in her drink earlier this month.
