Holly Willoughby scoffs 'tactical' sandwich before joining stars at Piers Morgan's boozy Christmas party

HOLLY Willoughby scoffed a "tactical" sandwich before joining a whole host of stars at Piers Morgan's annual Christmas party.

The 38-year-old beauty kept fans updated with her plans for the boozy night ahead over on her Instagram Story this evening.

Holding up a square of sarnie, Holly is cheekily smiling into the camera while wearing a suggestive Christmas jumper that read: "I'm your holiday treat".

She captioned the post: "Tactical cheese sandwich before tonight’s Christmas festivities…"

The This Morning presenter was wearing the same outfit as she arrived at Scarsdale Tavern for Piers' knees-up.

Holly was spotted clutching onto a wrapped-up bottle of wine as she made her entrance alongside Christine Lampard, who looked chic in a cream jumper and tailored trousers.

Christine's husband Frank, 41, followed the giggling women into the venue – as well as Piers' close friend and co-presenter Susanna Reid.

Piers' other Good Morning Britain co-stars were also in attendance, with Kate Garraway planting a kiss on husband Derek Draper as she embraced life outside of the I'm A Celeb jungle.

Laura Tobin, Richard Arnold, and Charlotte Hawkins were also at the do – with Kate joking that she was going to leave her share of the alcohol with them after she woke up late for GMB earlier today.

Sharing a group snap to her Insta page, Kate joked: "Hmmm @piersmorgan's Xmas drinks – a dangerous event to go to for a woman who over slept this morning and missed her first @gmb show back after jungle.

"But am leaving @errongordon @lauratobin100 @tvsrichardarnold & @ranvirtv to drink my share … am off to bed …. I promise …."

Sheridan Smith also proudly showed off her growing baby bump in a black and white checked blazer as she gazed adoringly at boyfriend Jamie Horn.

Other stars in attendance include James Blunt, Stanley and Rachel Johnson, Gary Lineker, Charlotte Hawkins, Katherine Jenkins, George Osborne, Bruno Tonioli, and Kay Burley.

Piers' son Spencer was also at the bash, with his close friend Georgia Toffolo joining him for a selfie alongside Gary's son George Lineker.
