Holly Willoughby terrified and in a right state over Dancing On Ice decision

Holly Willoughby is said to be terrified about returning to Dancing On Ice without presenting partner Phillip Schofield.

The series is returning in January and the full line-up of celebrities has been announced but ITV and Holly have not confirmed if she is coming back as a host or revealed who the second presenter will be.

Now, a source has claimed that Holly is in a 'right state' as she decides whether to host the show for another year.

The source told Mail Online : "Holly has got herself in a right state about it. She absolutely loves ITV, she is loyal to them and they have been extremely loyal to her, but she’s just not sure if she can do it."

They continued: "Holly doesn’t want to let anyone down. It is literally the toughest decision for her. I mean, what do you do? It starts in a few weeks, she knows that. It’s a huge quandary.

"With what Holly has been faced with in the past few months, that is a hard commitment to make. She’s worried, she’s terrified and it is absolutely awful for her."

It comes after Holly quit This Morning earlier this year, soon after her presenting partner Phillip left ITV and the daytime show when it was revealed he had lied about an affair with a show runner.

Holly put out a public statement on her departure from This Morning at the time, saying that she'd decided to leave the show as it was the right decision for herself and her family.

At the time, a source speaking to the Mirror said that her exit from This Morning wasn't going to affect her presenting job on Dancing On Ice.

They said: ‘In spite of her decision to walk away from This Morning, she’s still part of the ITV family and loves the show."

Although the second presenter has not been confirmed, Stephen Mulhern previously told MailOnline that he was in talks about replacing Phillip as one of the hosts of Dancing On Ice.

He said: "We are talking about it. But I promise you now that nothing is confirmed but if it happens, it will be absolutely amazing… if it doesn’t, look, it doesn’t."

Stephen continued: "The lineup is the best it has been in a few years… I am keeping across the lineup, just in case… It is a huge staple, and it has been around."

OK! has contacted representatives for Holly and ITV for comment.
