Hollyoaks' Callum Kerr looks completely different with bleached hair as he lands 1st Hollywood role after leaving soap

HOLLYOAKS star Callum Kerr now looks completely different with bleached blond hair after landing his first Hollywood role since leaving the soap.

The Scottish actor, 27, showed off his brand new look while filming a mystery project in Bucharest, Romania.

The photos show Callum with the hair dye on his head with a plastic wrap around his shoulders.

The next shows him in the a market with his usual look, before another of him with the dye on.

Then he reveals the new look – a bleached blonde hair that looks worlds away from PC George Kiss on Hollyoaks.

He also had a haircut, sporting short hair that's parted in the middle.

Callum captioned the images: "Don't ask for a short back and sides in Bucharest. Swipe for results. #newprojectpending ??‍♂️"

Former co-star and fellow Scot Rory Douglas-Speed – who plays Joel Dexter – said: "Stop trying to be me man ??????"

One fan then commented: "Can the real slim shady please stand up, I repeat, can the real slim shady please stand UP ☝??"

Another added: "That’s a look! Very cool"

Callum's character PC George Kiss was murdered after a year-long coercive control stroyline where it emerged he abused his boyfriend.

Now the star, from Musselburgh, East Lothian, is living the American dream after relocating to girlfriend Olivia’s hometown of Austin, Texas, following his stint on Glow and Darkness, a big-budget drama about 13th century Catholic Friar Saint Francis of Assisi which is being filmed all over the globe.

Callum, who plays Frederick VI of Swabia, joins famous faces like Hollywood legend Joan Collins, 88, and Bond girl Denise Richards, 50, in the series and hopes it's a springboard towards more showbiz success.

He says: "It's great to go right into work after Hollyoaks and to be with such a great cast who have achieved so much.

"It's filming all across the world and so to have the opportunity to travel and work with some acting legends is amazing.

"There's loads of horseback riding and sword fighting and the sort of stuff you dream about doing as a kid.

"It's a fantastic character to play and there's loads of action so I'm looking forward to filming the rest of the series.

"And working on Glow and Darkness with some huge American names is a good start to doing a few more international projects

"But it's also important to stay authentic and hopefully there's a lot of work in the UK as well because there's some great projects, amazing people and great shows and films coming out.

"It's always good to have an excuse to visit home as well so if I could work it out to be fifty per cent here and fifty per cent back home that would be perfect."

Although Callum's Hollyoaks character was killed over a month ago, viewers only recently discovered that it was Sally St. Claire – played by Scots actor Annie Wallace – that smacked George over the head with an ornament to stop him from hurting Theresa McQueen.
