Lady Colin Campbell was noticeably absent from the weekend's I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! South Africa cast reveal.
In total, nine stars were announced to appear in the spin-off series later this year: Countdown legend Carol Vorderman, US model Janice Dickinson, cricketer Phil Tufnell, boxer Amir Khan, Diversity's Jordan Banjo, athlete Fatima Whitbread, royal butler Paul Burrell, Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan, and The Happy Mondays singer Shaun Ryder.
The line-up for the show, which was filmed last year and will not air live, was revealed on Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway – and it didn't take long for fans to claim Lady C had been overlooked.
The 73 year old's no-show omission came as a shock to many fans, who remembered her action-packed 2015 stint in the jungle.
While camping out Down Under, se had memorable spats with Duncan Bannatyne and Tony Hadley, who she labelled "a vain old goat" and a "chippy little oik."
"WHY IS LADY C NOT ON THERE?" questioned one Saturday Night Takeaway viewer, while another said: "Need this legend back. Absolutely loved Lady C."
Lady C could still make an appearance though, as it's been revealed that nine stars revealed so far are not the complete line-up.
Joe Swash, who essentially admitted he'd been in South Africa filming the show last year, was not part of the announcement.
A source told The Sun:"It's a different format to Australia, who knows when and where celebrities will enter camp, literally anything could happen."
Explaining the concept behind the upcoming All Stars edition, co-presenter Ant McPartlin shared on Saturday: "Now it's something we've always wanted to do and it's I'm a Celeb as you've never seen it before.
"That's because we've taken some of your favourite faces from the last 20 years and sent them back into camp, only this time that camp is in South Africa."
Royal butler Paul, 64, weighed in on his latest I'm a Celebrity experience, telling the Takeaway hosts over video link: "Well I'm a lot older since I first did it in 2004, so this time it was really tough.
"I've watched every series of I'm a Celebrity and I was looking forward to seeing all these famous faces back in the camp, and I tell you, they did not disappoint! Because look at this wonderful selection of human beings!"
I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! South Africa airs later in the year on ITV.
