FORMER Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle is the latest star to sign up for I’m a Celebrity — and former bandmate Cheryl Cole is terrified her secrets will be spilled.
The singer, 34, has been confirmed as the ninth contestant on next month’s jungle show.
Producers hope she will blab about the band’s turbulent falling out after they split.
A source said: “Nadine is a big name and ITV was keen to get her.
Her link to Cheryl makes her an even more exciting prospect.
“It’s no secret there’s no love lost between them, and Nadine is refreshingly honest about what went on from her perspective. And I’m a Celebrity could well be the start of something big again for her.”
Nadine, who recently split from Jason Bell — dad to her five-year-old daughter Anaiya — will join celebs including Made in Chelsea’s Jamie Laing, ex-rugby star James Haskell and Corrie’s Lucy Fallon in Australia.
She has admitted she no longer talks to Cheryl and other bandmates Sarah Harding, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts.
Nadine said: “It’s so sad because you want everybody to think we’re best friends and we have pillow fights and, you know, drink milkshakes.
“I really, really wanted that to be, but it just wasn’t how it was. So yeah there was a divide. We’re very, very different characters.”
The Northern Irish star told how she and Cheryl, 36, clashed when Nadine said she was not consulted on the band’s decision to finally break up in 2013.
Cheryl called her claim “bulls***”.
