GRAND Designs truly opens our eyes to some incredible properties, and this Scottish abode is no exception.
Kevin McCloud has travelled up and down the country in search of the most stunning developments Britain has to offer, and came across Colin MacKinnon and Marta Briongos' home a few years ago.
Built in Strathaven, the couple's stunning air hangar house took a whopping ten years to build.
Set in the middle of an airfield, it's not your typical location for a home, but the views are impeccable.
Completed in 2019, the beautiful property is certainly a stand-out for any aviation enthusiasts.
However, it wasn't an easy ride for the couple, with the Grand Designs crew actually following their build since things kicked off.
The first episode which featured flight instructor Colin and trapeze expert Martha aired back in 2011.
They explained how their future home would be built on Colin and his family's land, which encompasses Strathaven Airfield, the oldest continually used airstrip in Scotland.

They worked alongside Edinburgh-based architect Richard Murphy to create the dream home, and after ten long years, they'd finished a masterpiece.
With a curved metal roof, and a huge rounded glass balcony looking out over the front of the property, it's a stand-out abode.
Its interiors is equally as unique, with the couple opting for plenty of bold colour, from a yellow feature wall to bright red furniture.
Back in June 2021, Colin revealed in an interview with the Daily Record that they're planning on doing it all over again.
He stated that plans are underway to build up to five more hangar homes on their eight-acre plot of land.
