MEGAN Barton Hanson and James Lock had an awkward reunion at an Ex On The Beach event.
The pair came face to face following their split at a press call for the hit MTV show in central London on Tuesday.
Insiders said Megan, 27, and James, 35, were frosty with one another and kept their distance when they could.
A source said: “Being stuck in a room with your ex is most people’s worst nightmare and that’s exactly what happened to Megan and James.
“It was a work job so they were both professional but it was awkward and at times you could have cut the tension with a knife.
“There was a frosty atmosphere to say the least.

“Megan and James were there to have their professional photographs taken with the rest of the cast.
“As soon as they were able to leave there were definite sighs of relief.”
Megan and James called time on their relationship last month.
At the time a friend said: “Megan’s relationship with James hasn’t worked despite her being hopeful after he surprised during the early days of them dating.”
Following their break up, Megan said she was focussing on her new podcast – You Come First With Megan Barton Hanson.
The series, which has proved a hit since it first launched, sees Megan opening up with guests about some of the most taboo and private topics.
The Love Island beauty also revealed she was open to finding a partner who wasn’t famous.
She told fans during a Q and A: “I’ve said so many times I want someone not in our industry but it’s all I meet when I prioritise work and events.
“This year I’m putting work second and myself and happiness first! I want to travel loads.”
