ITV Im A Celeb viewers in tears over Josie Gibsons son Reggies heartbreaking six word message

Viewers were left in tears during Sunday night's I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! when the campmates received letters from home.

One that left viewers particularly emotional was the letter Josie Gibson received from her five-year-old son Reggie.

After receiving the letters each campmate read someone else's letter aloud, with Nigel Farage reading the sweet letter from Reggie.

He read: "Hello Mummy, I hope you are having the best time in the jungle, I have been watching you at home with Daddy. The snakes and spiders look scary mummy, but you are doing a good job. I love you and miss you."

In turn, Josie then read Nigel's letter from his four children: "To Dad, you’ve achieved so much over the years but nothing has made us prouder than showing people who you really are. Why are we not shocked at you effortlessly sinking those dirty pints?"

The other campmates also received their letters from home, as everyone became rather emotional as their fellow camp residents received sweet messages from their loved ones.

As the emotional scenes aired, fans were quick to take to X, formerly Twitter, with one waiting: "Not me crying at the letters from home segment #ImACeleb."

"Those letters got me crying in bed, especially josies nella and marvs #ImACeleb," added another, while a third penned: "Why am I crying at a bunch of strangers getting letters? Is this what getting older feels like."

However some viewers thought it was all a bit much, as one argued: "Are people seriously crying over OTHER people receiving letters from THEIR loved ones? #ImACeleb."

While another quipped: "Bit much crying over letters from home, ye've only been gone for 2 weeks ffs. Enjoy the break #ImACeleb."

And although some viewers were left emotional at the letter from Josie's son, it didn't stop others from turning on the TV star, with others labelling her, Danielle Harold, and Nella Rose "two-faced."

The complaints came after she clashed with First Dates star Fred Sirieix on Sunday night's instalment as he appeared to interfere with her cooking once again, and suggested some more ways to cook rice.

Complaining about this in the Bush Telegraph, Josie said: "I'm still getting the orders from Fred."

One wrote: "Josie was one of my favourites in the beginning but the way she’s behaving with Nella (and Danielle for that matter) against Fred now is so annoying. He does this for a living, he’s literally just trying to help. #ImACeleb."

"Not sure why it’s bothering me as much as this but the way Josie, Nella & Danielle are acting is really irritating me, like mean girls #ImACeleb," added another.
