Jeremy Vine spots Jason Donovan narrowly avoiding a bus
Broadcaster Jeremy Vine has captured a video of former Neighbours star Jason Donovan almost being hit by a London bus while cycling in the city.
The 58-year-old TV host is a keen cyclist and was out on his bike in London when he randomly came across 55-year-old Jason also on his bike.
Jeremy wears a camera while cycling to capture any motorists who are compromising the safety of those on two wheels.
However as he stopped at traffic lights the soap icon spotted him and said hello.
Jason did a double-take and then took one of his headphones out of his ear and enquired: “Is that you Jeremy?”

The pair enjoyed a brief chat on their bikes before saying their goodbyes, but within seconds of cycling away Jason found himself in a compromising position as a London bus came too close for comfort.
The whole incident was caught on Jeremy’s fish eye camera as he called out the “terrible driver” before cycling up to Jason to ask if he was okay.
“That was a close one. He nearly hit you. Terrible driving,” he said.
However, Jason was relatively calm all things considered and continued smiling and giggling as Jeremy asked him what had happened. “That was a close one,” he said.
