We’ve been watching the Duggar family for years thanks to TLC’s programming, and a ton has changed over the years for Jim Bob, Michelle, and their 19 children. While the parents were the focal point when the Duggars first rose to fame, we’re all more interested in seeing what their adult children are up to now. And thanks to social media, fans get to keep up with Jinger, Jana, Jill, and many other famous Duggars.
Jessa Duggar has had social media for a while, as it’s where she features photos and videos of her husband, Ben Seewald, and three kids. But fans have noticed she’s seemingly taken a step back from the ‘gram, as she hasn’t posted any photos of herself in some time. Not only that, but her latest Counting On promotion doesn’t include her, either.
‘Counting On’ is officially back
TLC is bringing the Duggars back for Season 10 of Counting On on Oct. 15, 9 p.m. EST, Heavy reports. The publication notes this season will pick up right where Season 9 left off. We can’t forget that John-David Duggar and Abbie Burnett announced they were expecting their first child at the end of last season — and, as their Instagram followers know, things seem to be going quite well for the couple. Not only that, but we’re sure Counting On will touch on Joy-Anna’s devastating miscarriage, Jinger’s new life in Los Angeles, and the untimely death of Grandma Duggar.
As for Jessa, the last season of the show left off with her having her third child, Ivy Seewald. And we’ve seen Ivy grow up on social media, as Jessa frequently posts photos of the adorable baby girl. We’re hoping Season 10 will feature much more of Jessa, Ben, and their sweet family, too.
Fans have noticed Jessa Duggar’s absence on social media
No one knows just how much Jessa and Ben will be featured on this season, but we’re hoping to see more of them than Jessa provides on her Instagram. It’s been months since Jessa has posted any photos of herself on social media, though she has consistently given her fans photos of her kids and her husband, Ben. Not only that, but Jessa even changed her Instagram profile photo to one of Ben instead of herself.
Jessa will occasionally add Instagram Stories featuring herself, but fans have noticed her absence. They even reached out to the Duggar Family Instagram to ask if she’s alright. “She is doing great! Busy taking care of her little ones!” the family answered on the photo of Ben.
Her latest show promotion also doesn’t include herself
Jessa added a new post to Instagram to follow her most recent ones of her kids — but this post is quite similar to the rest. It’s a photo of Spurgeon, Henry, and Ivy all together with the Counting On logo over them. “New season starts tonight!” Jessa captioned the post. And fans seemed excited to see the Duggar adding her first photo to Instagram in two weeks.
We can’t help but notice that Jessa’s recent photo doesn’t include her at all, however. And she hasn’t posted many recent Instagram Stories featuring herself. Other family members have included her in their posts, however, so we know she’s still around with the other Duggars. Perhaps we’ll just have to wait until the Counting On premiere to get a true glimpse into her life — or maybe she’s just hoping for a bit more privacy now that she’s a bit older and growing her family. Whatever the case may be, there’s no doubt Jessa’s still a favorite amongst fans, and we’re hoping to see some new posts of herself in the future!
