Kardashians slammed for dropping new Hulu show trailer during Black History Month after old 'racist' comments resurfaced

THE Kardashians have been slammed for dropping the trailer for their new Hulu show during Black History Month.

The famous family has been under fire in recent weeks after their old "racist" comments and posts resurfaced on social media.

Amid the controversy, their official account shared the teaser for their new reality show, The Kardashians.

The promo – set to legendary Black singer Nina Simone's song Feeling Good – was captioned: "Shatter all expectations. The Kardashians premieres April 14 on Hulu."

Critics called out both the family and Hulu for sharing the trailer during Black History Month.

The month – which is celebrated in February – is an annual commemoration of achievements by Black people and an opportunity to recognize their central role in US history.

One viewer raged on Twitter: "They are so sinister for this song choice and announcing it this month."

Another added: "If Nina Simone was alive today I just know she'd be repulsed that her work was being used to punctuate this awful family."

A third user posted: "Announcing a new Kardashian show during black history month is sick."

One critic recalled the incident in which Khloe, 37, allegedly referred to herself as a "n****r lover".

They asked Hulu: "Wait, so you and Disney are totally fine with Khloe Kardashian saying the N-word?"

Viewers have been calling for Hulu to cancel the Kardashians' new show ever since the family's old racially-insensitive comments started to resurface on social media.

The recent backlash started when an alleged old clip re-emerged from Khloe's time on KUWTK.

SHOCKING CLIP

In the throwback scene, the TV personality had spoken up to defend her sister Kim, 41, after trolls had accused her of appropriating black culture.

While offering a response to the haters, Khloe reportedly said: "Hashtag fact, my baby is black.

"Hashtag I only like black c**k. That's what I would say."

Then, she reportedly appeared to have used the N-word when she described some of the name-callings she had received from fans.

Khloe allegedly said: "All I get called is a n****r lover all day long. Who the f**k cares?"

She and Kim were also slammed for boasting about "only having sex with Black guys" in a resurfaced Howard Stern interview from 2009.

CONTROVERSIAL CLAIMS

During the chat, Kim claimed, "Black guys love a big a**" and added: "We have such big a**es."

Khloe then said she had never had "sex with a white guy".

Kim has also faced backlash in the past for"blackfishing."

Last year, the reality star posted a photo of her hands on her Instagram Story that showed two very different shades of color.

In the snap, one of Kim's hands looked much lighter than the other as she wrote: "Body makeup is perfect for hands bc my hands are always pale & our formula is waterproof so you can wash your hands!

"We used color Light/Medium."

Some fans weren't happy that Kim had changed her skin color, with one tweeting: "It must be so exhausting having to tint your skin darker every time you do a shoot or something."
