Katie Price was left gobsmacked as she went through her fan mail and found a letter from a US prisoner asking for an autograph.

The former glamour model, 44, was back on television screens on Tuesday (February 21) as Katie Price's Mucky Mansion returned to Channel 4 for a second series.

While sorting through her clutter in the first epsiode, she went through her boxes of fan mail from over the years.

Kate explained: "My brother used to come back with sacks and sacks and sacks.

"There was absolutely no social media so it goes to show I suppose I was pretty popular in a good way.

Fiancé Carl Woods asked: "Do you just get strict hate mail now?"

Katie continued: "I've been doing this job since I was 17.

I always say this to Carl, when he entered my life, he never thought it would be so bad.

Carl agreed: "It's hard work being in her world but she don't know any different."

As she read some cards from fans, she stumbled across a letter sent from a convict in jail.

She pointed out: "That's from a prison. That's fascinating though. That's come from the USA.

Katie read: "Dear Katie Price, I'm writing to ask fro your autograph. I'm a big fan and like them all I even had you as my screensaver.

"I'd really appreciate anything you have for your fans. Congratulations on a successful career. God bless, your biggest fan Mikey. January 2011.

"It's weird. It's like turning back the time and knowing what s**t i've had since, it's weird."

The OnlyFans model purchased the mansion from former cabinet office minister Francis Maude for £1.3million in 2014.

Katie's transformation series takes viewers through the process of turning the decrepit building into a family home once again.

Mother-of-five Katie previously opened up about the process of repairing Mucky Mansion into the forever family home of her dreams.

She said: "I found it hard to come to the house. I had bad memories of it all.

"I was introduced to someone who wanted to turn it into a wedding venue, but it turned out to be a hoax and he ended up fly-tipping all of my land and made my house derelict inside.

"And then it got burgled and someone turned the shower on, so it leaked and my ceiling collapsed.

"It looked like a building site, so that’s where it got the name Mucky Mansion."
