KILLING Eve fans have finally got what they want and that’s a sexy smooch between Villanelle (Jodie Comer) and Eve (Sandra Oh).
It took three seasons for the thriller to have the nemeses to lock lips and it came about in the most surprising way.
Fans were left “gasping” after the two got into a physical fight on the top deck of a London bus after Villanelle surprised Eve.
When Eve spotted the assassin with whom she shares a mutual fascination, she quickly attacked her and the pair scuffled around the bus as other commuters looked on in horror and filmed the skirmish on their phones.
Eve whacked Villanelle across the face, who then pinned Eve down to one of the seats and leaned over her so their faces came into close contact.
Then the moment viewers had waited for happened, Eve leaned forward and the pair ended up kissing passionately.
But it was all a ruse with Eve head-butting Villanelle to get out of her grasp.
“I’m not here for you,” Villanelle told Eve during their tustle.
The psychopathic killer then gets off the bus and watches it drive off as Eve returns to her seat, out of breath.
Sandra told Elle that scene and kiss made perfect sense for Killing Eve.
She said: “When the idea came, I believed it immediately, it made emotional sense immediately, and we enjoyed bouncing around on that bus.
The Grey’s Anatomy actress went on to say she could not imagine Eve existing with Villanelle and vice versa.
Sandra mused: “Therein lies the great
human search for wholeness. It’s the essence of drama.
“This is a thing that I’ve always been interested in: Creating the character of a woman who actively makes herself whole.”
Fans were beside themselves after the explosive scene and took to Twitter to express their emotions.
One user wrote: “THIS IS THE BEST THING THAT’S EVER HAPPENED TO ME IM NOT KIDDING.”
While another said: “The amount of times I have GASPED during this episode.”
And third added: “VILLANEVE NATION RISE, WE DID IT , WE GOT WHAT WE DESERVED.”

The hit BBC drama returned earlier this month and followed on from the aftermath of the season two finale which saw Villanelle shoot Eve in Rome and leave her for dead.
Season three has certainly delivered some shocks already with its first two outings, with beloved character Kenny (Sean Delaney) being killed in the first episode.
