Kim Kardashian reveals she wore a fake replica of stolen diamond ring from Paris robbery after fans suspected it had been returned

KIM Kardashian has revealed that she recently wore a fake replica of the diamond ring she had stolen during the Paris robbery, after fans suspected it had been returned.

The reality star, 39,  was seen wearing a ring which looked like the one snatched from her during the traumatic heist for a perfume advert with her sisters.

Earlier this month Kim showed off two diamond engagement rings from husband Kanye West while promoting her new KKW fragrance collection.

She was posing alongside sister Khloe and Kourtney in the perfume ad as she flaunted the impressive sparklers.

However fans thought one of the rings was the one she had stolen – but she has now said it is a fake.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight Kim said: "I borrowed all jewellery from Lorraine Schwartz. It was nice to borrow it all and nice to give it back to her."

She added: "That was a really fun shoot and because it was diamonds, I thought this was the perfect way to bring it back and wear them again."

The emerald cut ring was  stolen during her 2016 Paris robbery.

Kim was left "badly shaken" after thieves "tied her up and held her at gunpoint" in her plush Paris apartment before making off with £8million worth of jewellery.

Kim's usual bodyguard was on the other side of the French capital protecting her sisters Kendall and Kourtney as they sampled the Parisian nightlife.

The aftermath of the robbery on October 3 left the mum-of-five unable to sleep without security guards and rarely wearing jewellery.

Kim and rapper husband Kanye, 42, even banned jewellery from their Californian home following the ordeal.

However, Kim has made an exception for the purfume ad.
