Emmerdale’s Leyla (Roxy Shahidi) is determined to see Callum (Tom Ashley) receive justice for what he’s done to her and her family, but her un-thought-out actions will leave her in danger.
Leyla is desperate to right her wrongs and get Jacob (Joe Warren-Plant) back on side, but in doing so he is once again put at major risk. Having not long recovered from being stabbed by Callum, David (Matthew Wolfenden) and Pollard (Chris Chittel) are terrified to realise they cannot contact the teenager after Leyla confesses she’s once again put him in danger with the drug dealer.
Thankfully, he walks through the door A-OK, but the relief is short lived when Leyla admits that she provoked Callum. The danger is not going away, and Jacob is taken to Pollard’s for safety.
Suzy (Martelle Edinborough) hears of Leyla’s attempts to get at Callum and wants in on bringing him down, so she takes matters into her own hands and smears his name to his associates as a grass. Funnily enough, Callum is not best pleased, and his response comes in the form of a brick to Suzy’s head.
The near crushing of her skull leaves badly injured and lifeless outside Take A Vow when Mary (Louise Jameson) finds her and calls for an ambulance. It’s touch and go as she’s rushed to hospital and when Leyla hears of the incident, she is awash with guilt.
Suzy is still unconscious in her hospital bed when Leyla learns sneaky Callum has an alibi for the assault and there’s nothing to place him at the scene. If Suzy dies, it’ll all be for nothing.
After an anxious wait, Suzy eventually wakes and is terrified to learn that her attacker is at large and could easily come back to finish her off. She’s not wrong, Leyla starts receiving threatening messages from Callum.
A desperate Leyla is found by Caleb (Will Ash) sobbing in the graveyard and offers her some advice on how to play Callum at his own game (is there no situation that guy can’t sort?!). Off the back of the conversation, she foolishly arranges to meet Callum, and in true Leyla style forgets to think about her own safety as she charges in like a bull in a china shop.
And just like that Leyla finds herself kidnapped by evil Callum. She’s plunged into her own living nightmare as she finds herself bound and gagged, and no one knows where she is.
Suzy is released from hospital and left annoyed that Leyla did not come to collect her.
But it’s not long before Suzy realises something is up and the penny starts to drop that the Take A Vow director is in serious danger. It’s up to Suzy to save her, will she find her in time or is this goodbye to Leyla?
