Most reality shows try to get fans to focus on the stars instead of production. But the Love is Blind reunion had an interesting moment between one of the co-hosts and Kyle Abrams that gave a little peek behind the curtain.

Shayne turned down Shaina on ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 2
In the reunion, the cast revisited the moment Shaina met with Shayne again. Natalie said she felt betrayed by both of them. She felt hurt that Shayne said if Shaina had said something two days earlier, things could have been different.
“It’s not something he was telling me,” Natalie revealed. “I felt like by the last set of days, he assured me it was just going to be me. It was only me. So seeing that there could have been a change if he explored another connection was really hard.”
Shaina apologized for not being honest about her feelings for Shayne. Shayne then gave his perspective on the moment.
“This was one of the biggest days of my life going into it,” he said. “And I literally thought I was going to come into a room, proposing to my girl. And someone else came into that room. You literally get punched right in the face. I blacked out when it happened.”
Kyle then chimed in with, “Can we talk about the fact that why was that meeting even a thing? Why did that happen?”
Vanessa Lachey said, “I wish I knew.” She then started talking over him and not letting him finish his sentence. They then started playing the clip of Kyle proposing to Shaina. Producers had to be somehow involved with that moment being filmed, but it looks like that wasn’t going to make the cut of the reunion.
Shayne gave an update on his love life
The reunion revealed which cast members were currently in a relationship. Natalie said she tried to have a relationship with Shayne after the season, but she couldn’t let the fight before their wedding go.
Lachey also asked if Shaina and Shayne saw each other before the reunion. He said yes, but refused to talk about it. Shaina said they were just friends and nothing romantic was going on. It looks like the three cast members didn’t find love through the experiment after all.
