Love Island’s Faye Winter takes swipe at fellow stars who sign big money fast fashion deals | The Sun

FAYE Winter has thrown shade at the fellow Love Island stars who signed big money fast fashion deals after their stint in the villa.

The reality star, 27, shot to fame on the seventh series of the ITV2 dating show last year.

Faye has gone on to do a number of incredible things since her stint on Love Island.

She has campaigned for animal charities such as Guide Dogs UK and Peta, while others such as Molly-Mae Hague, 23, and Gemma Owen, 19, have gone on to launch their own clothing ranges.

The former estate agent thinks that her efforts are sometimes not recognised enough by others.

Faye said: "It's hard because I don't feel like there's enough light shed on people that do amazing things like peaking in Parliament and being able to bring an animal cruelty side of things and my animal care.

"I'm a guide dog campaign star that was the first thing I did when I came off Love Island and you know nobody wanted to see that as a great achievement because they couldn't plaster it everywhere that it was a six-figure sum, there's no money in it, I don't get paid for it."

"It's just purely down to me and my passion," Fay added to the Mirror.

However the star understands why those who have been on Love Island would take up the opportunity to sign a huge deal with popular brands.

Fay said: "I personally don't like fast fashion.

"I don't like fast fashion because I don't agree with it but then there are people that all they wear is PrettyLittleThing and Oh Polly, so it makes sense for them and they love that brand.

"You need to applaud them as much as people applaud us.

"It would just be nice to be able to see people cheering harder for those that are doing things that maybe aren't seen as such great achievements."

After Molly-Mae left the villa in 2019, we reported how she had secured a £500,000 deal with PLT. The following year an even more lucrative £600k deal came her way.

This year Michael Owens' daughter Gemma, who recently split from Luca Bish, signed a six figure deal with the same brand.

It comes after Faye posed topless in central London for a Peta protest for marine animals.

The telly star painted herself as a Killer Whale as part of the photocall that took place in Piccadilly Circus over the weekend.
