Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan are ‘terrified they were watched by criminals’ after £65k Range Rover theft

MARK Wright and wife Michelle Keegan are terrified that thieves spied on them for days before stealing their £65,000 Range Rover from their driveway.

Radio presenter Mark desperately sought the help of police and fans on social media after the pricey car was pinched from outside their Essex home in broad daylight.

Now The Sun can reveal that the celeb couple fear their movements were being monitored in the run-up to the theft.

A source said: "Mark and Michelle fear that they were targeted and the thieves drove past their house several times over a few days before spotting the gates were left open.

"It would be too much of a coincidence that it was a random robbery – someone had to be keeping an eye out for the gates to be left open."

Mark and Michelle's reps have been approached for comment.

Fortunately, the Range was soon found after Mark's appeals for help.

The TV star tweeted last night: "Car has now been found 20mins away … Thank you to all the people who tweeted and showed support. X"

The 33-year-old former Towie star also credited the police for tracking his car.

He said: "Thank you to @MetaTrakUK @metpoliceuk @EssexPoliceUK for your incredible work."

Earlierin the day a panicked Mark pleaded with fans on Twitter and wrote: "If Anyone sees a black Range Rover sport in the Chigwell area heading away from Abridge please tweet me.

"Just this second stolen off my drive whilst we are home. Unbelievable."

He also tweeted the car's number plate so fans could contact him with their sightings.

A source told The Sun that the high-tech car is fitted with a tracker – meaning the star and local police were able to follow it.

They explained: "Mark accidentally left his gate unlocked and that's when the car was stolen.

"But, the car has a tracker on it – Mark's already found it in Ilford so will have it back within the hour."

An Essex Police spokesman later revealed: "We were called to reports a car had been stolen in Abridge at around 4.10pm on Monday 7 December. The vehicle was recovered in Ilford a short time later."

Mark told fans: "Car has now been found 20mins away. Thank you to @MetaTrakUK@metpoliceuk@EssexPoliceUK for your incredible work.

"Thank you to all the people who tweeted and showed support. X."

The robbery comes days after Tottenham star Harry Kane was also the victim of Range Rover thieves, having his car pinched from Chingford, East London, a short drive away from Chigwell.
