Married At first Sight UK is set to make history after announcing it’s first-ever trans participant.

Ella, a 29-year-old clinic consultant from Weston-Super-Mare, is hoping to find love on the show alongside seven other brides.

However, she is fully aware of the impact that her appearance on the programme will have.

“This experiment is so much more than just me getting married.

“I see this as a big deal for someone who has transitioned,” she told Digital Spy.

The blonde beauty currently lives with her nan and says that there isn’t anyone else in the world she is closer to. She claims that together they are “the dynamic duo everyone needs in their life.”

She is described as having a “caring nature” which is the “foundation of the close relationships she shares with her family and friends.”

Claiming that she “loves love and she cannot wait to settle down with the right person one day” it remains to be seen which of the eight potential grooms the experts will pair her with.

Her potential grooms include 27-year-old model Brad who will already be familiar to viewers.

He hit headlines back in 2016 when he briefly dated Charlotte Crosby from Geordie Shore.

The heavily tattooed Grimsby native is no stranger to reality TV having appeared on several in the past.

He met Charlotte when he appeared as a possible suitor on Celebs Go Dating and the pair were subsequently linked.

The factory worker turned model later appeared on Geordie Shore, where Charlotte and her friends were horrified to learn that he was only 20 at the time as she had stipulated a minimum age of 25 when she went on Celebs Got Dating.

His official MAFS biography says that he is “comfortable and secure in who he is,” and “doesn’t care what people think about him, as long as he’s being his authentic self.”

It also states that he is a firm believer that people only fall in love three times in life, and that he’s hoping that Married at First Sight UK will be third time lucky. It remains to be seen if his MAFS match feels comfortable living up to a celebrity ex.

The new series of Married At First Sight UK will air on E4 later this year.
