Masked Dancer Pearly King not Danny Dyer as fans think hes EastEnders co-star

The Masked Dancer fans believe they have figured out the true identity of Pearly King after rumours of Danny Dyer being behind the mask fell flat.

Initially, many viewers of the ITV series predicted it could be Mick Carter actor Danny or Alfie Moon star Shane Richie after a series of clues, which included the letter D, references to Cockney rhyming slang and being an actor.

Fans now believe EastEnders Ian Beale actor Adam Woodyatt is tipped to be the celebrity donning the costume.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: "I think it's Ian Beale."

Another guessed: "Pearly King is Adam Woodyatt ( Ian Beale)," as a third fan said: "Ian Beale. Pearly King Adam Woodyatt."

It wasn't just the viewers at home who were picking up on the clues, as judge Oti Mabuse also had the same thought.

She admitted: "I can see from the set, there are a lot of 'DD's' and that is something that is being repeated a lot.

"So I thought, maybe Danny Dyer from EastEnders!"

However, Jonathan Ross piped up and exclaimed: "I don't think it is Danny Dyer, you're going in the wrong direction.

"The other DD, who it is, and I know the audience are going to 100 percent agree with me, it is David Dickinson obviously!"

The Masked Dancer returned for another episode of the new series on Saturday night with Oti Mabuse, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and Peter Crouch the judges of the contestant's dance moves.

Pearly King was up against Onomatopoeia where viewers were convinced that the person behind the mask was X Factor singer, Fleur East.

Despite the energetic performance from Pearly King, he fell a little short and ended up being in the dance-off competing against Pig and Cactus.

After some fierce competition, Pearly King luckily made it through to the next round and lives to dance another day.

Finding out who was behind the mask, the judges were at the edge of their seats waiting for Pig to take the costume off.

Unveiling their identity, it was revealed that Gavin and Stacey star Joanna Page was behind the Pig mask.
