Matt Hancock and Gina Coladangelo look loved-up as cast snub wrap party

Matt Hancock and girlfriend Gina Coladangelo led the I'm A Celebrity campmates out to party on Monday night – showing no signs of getting back to work.

Before going onto the show the disgraced MP had suggested he was contactable before and after going onto the show and his aides told how he had access to a laptop.

But around 8 hours after arriving back from camp in the JW Marriott hotel he was seen at a private drinks event with other contestants including winner Jill Scott and Sue Cleaver.

Dressed in white, the pair enjoyed a drinks reception at the JW Marriott hotel on the Gold Coast before boarding a mini bus to continue to celebrate close by as the celebs had their own three hour dinner party at La Luna restaurant at the Marina Mirage.

The decision by the likes of Jill Scott, Mike Tindall and Babatunde Aleshe to take over the restaurant meant they snubbed an appearance at the show's wrap party at a surf club in nearby town Coolangatta.

Traditionally most of the contestants would attend the bash and pose for photos with the cast and crew.

But this year they never made it to the event, perhaps put off by the rainy weather.

Mike, the show's first member of the Royal Family, went out for the night with wife Zara.

And King Charles' niece, 41, looked incredible for the party, showing off her toned legs in a vibrant green dress.

Mike appeared to be in full holiday mode as he wore a Hawaiian shirt and a pair of white linen trousers with trainers.

By the end of the night Zara could be seen laughing with her shoes off, clearly having had a great night with her new friends.

Queen of the jungle Jill Scott looked very different out of her jungle clothes as she donned a one-shouldered black jumpsuit that she paired with stylish white trainers.

The decision to go on the ITV series has been controversial and saw him suspended by the conservative party.

But Hancock insists it was a correct decision to show MPs in a different light.

He told Ant and Dec: "I wanted to show what I was like as a person. Lots of people come to me with preconceived ideas, for obvious reasons.

"And I just wanted to be myself. But I also actually strongly believe that for politicians as a whole, we don't come across as human enough. And this is probably the most extreme way of just showing who you are, I am someone who throws himself into things.

"And we managed to talk about some important things here."

Jill told Good Morning Britain she had needed "two showers and two baths just to smell half decent" after leaving the jungle.

Earlier in the day when Jill returned from camp she received a hero's welcome and then insisted the contestants all get together for one final rendition of their song 'Don't come back without the stars". The series final won by Jill peaked at 11.5million making it the most popular series since 2018.
