Nadia Sawalha makes epic on-air gaffe as she talks fears of 'humping spiders'

Nadia Sawalha left the Loose Women audience cracking up when she accidental blip left her talking about experiencing humping spiders.

The TV star was talking about her upcoming trip to the Himalayas in order to raise money for breast cancer charity Coppafeel, and was talking to other women taking part when she made the blip.

Talking to the Loose Women panel about the girls’ WhatsApp group, Nadia revealed everyone had shared their fears ahead of the epic hike.

Pointing at one of the women, she said: ‘Your one makes me laugh so much, because you’re scared of humping spiders!’

Everyone then broke down in tears when she had to be hastily corrected – and it was actually just jumping spiders everyone was afraid of.

Cracking up over the gaffe, Nadia couldn’t contain herself as she tried to defend her actions as it was what was written on the card.

‘It might be humping, but it’s the jumping as well!,’ her new pal giggled.

Nadia then sarcastically added: ‘Oh I’m so sorry if I offended anyone!’

Nadia will be joined by cancer survivors and supporters as she heads with 100 people over to do the Himalayan trek.

Giovanna Fletcher and Coronation Street’s Brooke Vincent will be joining Nadia on the trek, started tomorrow and running through for the next nine days.

In order to cheer her on, the Loose Women cast created a video from all the guests and panellists wishing her luck, alongside a survival kit.

Among its contents was a hip flask, a bunch of vaseline and a t-shirt with the Loose Women logo.

Loose Women airs weekdays from 12.30pm on ITV.
