NCIS LA has come to an end for another season but fear not fans, as CBS has already confirmed the drama will return for a 12th series. NCIS Los Angeles was renewed alongside the rest of the franchise with another season also in store for both the original NCIS and NCIS New Orleans. And going by how the latest series concluded, there is still plenty of drama to come for the agents.
WARNING: This article contains spoilers from NCIS Los Angeles.
In the final episode of NCIS LA called Code of Conduct, the team were asked to travel to Afghanistan to investigate the death of an unarmed prisoner.
Two Navy SEALs claim it was their chief who murdered the man but the team aren’t entirely convinced but are eager to find out the truth.
But the team soon learn a lot more about Navy SEAL Argento’s (played by Juan Riedinger) violent past, having already killed other unarmed individuals, as well as the fact he has a familial connection to a senator in Washington DC.
His guilt is then secured when Argento tried to lead an assault against Agents Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) and Callen (Chris O’Donnell), by informing his team that there were enemies in the building.

Thankfully, Hanna and Callen were able to stop the pending attack and arrest Argento as a result.
But as he was leaving, the Navy SEAL chief said he wouldn’t be going to prison, as he would be receiving help from his connections to Washington.
The episode ended with fans being unsure what lies ahead for Argento but could he be right? Could he get away with his murder?
Fans are just going to have to wait until the next season to find out if Argento will be returning and if he’ll seek revenge against the agents.
Who plays Nell Jones’ sister?
Another prominent storyline in season 11 is Nell Jones’ (Renée Felice Smith) departure.
After she told boyfriend Eric Beale (Barrett Foa) she wanted to slow their relationship down after he disappeared on a mission set by Hetty Lange (Linda Hunt) without telling her what was going on, Nell hasn’t exactly been herself.
She confided in Agent Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) about how she no longer looked forward to coming to work and so, at the end of Fortune Favors the Brave, Nell handed in her resignation.
Hetty didn’t accept her quitting though and told her to think about it while taking some of her holiday days off in the meantime.
Reluctantly, Nell agreed and she did not feature in the remaining episodes of series 11, leaving fans to question if she is actually gone for good.
But in such a confusing time in her life, could Nell be in need of some sisterly advice?

NCIS LA season 12: Is Hetty leaving NCIS Los Angeles? [SPOILER]
In series nine, episode 14, Goodbye Vietnam, Hetty had been kidnapped and taken to Vietnam and it was up to her team to rescue her.
During the episode, Executive Assistant Director Shay Mosley (Nia Long) called in Nell’s sister NSA Analyst Sydney Jones (Ashley Rae Spillers) to help the team with processing evidence connected to Hetty’s case.
As soon as Sydney got involved, she started bossing Nell around like the big sister she is, much to the NCIS analyst’s annoyance.
Despite their bickerings, it was clear from the get-go they are sisters as not only do they look alike, they also have similar characteristics which the team were happy to point out.
Sydney is played by actress Ashley Rae Spillers who has appeared in a handful of episodes of NCIS LA over the past few years.
Besides this, Spillers is probably best remembered for being in TV series Red vs. Blue, Distance and Vice Principals.
She has also been in films War Dogs, Last Vegas, Inheritance and The Love Inside.
